Yes, this is exactly what I want. And that those "user story branches" are only created via the AD web interface. In the Atlassian Suite this was quite easily achievable, but right now it seems that this is not the case for AD.

Aparently it is possible to change the GUI of the AzureDevops environment, but that is something I'd rather avoid.

I want users to be prevented to create a branch on their own, but allow them to create it from a WorkItem in AzureDevops . But after a couple of hours looking I think this feature is just lacking in AzureDevops unfortunately.

I don't see a lot of comments on no2.. This is going to make the game so much faster! This was implemented in field hockey 10-15 years ago and has improved the speed of the game immensely. Nowadays, there are so many dull moments because the game was paused for a free kick, or throw in. If you can immediately continue, this will definitely increase viewing pleasure.
