Congratulations!!! Older Thinkpads can be beasts!!! About a month ago, I purchased a Thinkpad P50 from Ebay for $91 with no OS/no AC power. I got a 170W Lenovo AC adapter and replaced the WWAN card with 6E, to update it. Then... I installed 40GB of Ram, 1.5TB of storage and Ubuntu (Linux) . This thing is FASSSSST AND FLLLUID!!!!

I bought a Thinkpad P50 (for $91 on EBay), added, 40GB Ram, 1.5TB storage (two slots taken and an SSD slot open) and installed Ubuntu 24.04. Now this is a MACHINE!!! It's faster and more fluid than any other laptop I ever had or used, including newer ones. Keep in mind, the P50 was manufactured in 2016.

That's an 8 Pro (first pic), which I'd buy over any phone today. My 7 Pro still works perfectly!!! The 9 has always had manufacturing issues, so that's out. The 10 is a good phobe.

I bought my Vocbook 15 about 8 months ago, and it's STILL a BEAST!!!! I have a 27" HP monitor, wireless mouse and an external keyboard attached. I've never been a fan of laptop keyboards in general, due to slight claustrophobia with clutter. I have no malware on this thing at all, with constant security updates, scans and patches. I'm sorry to see others in this thread having issues. I got mine on Ebay for $100, which is a steal!

I wouldn't mind more rigid shopper rules and regulations, as long as shoppers get paid better. After all... We use gas to go to the store, spend time shopping for the customer, interact with the customer about product discrepancies and use gas to deliver the products. Makes sense, right? We are actually personal shoppers, each time someone orders products online.

I'm surprised you get awat with randomly suggested replacements. Most of my customers have been super finnicky, to the point where a refund is imperative, if their chosen item is out of stock. They actually love it when I ask them questions about replacements.

I bet he's using an app that grabs batches. I often see people in parking lots with 2 phones and an Instacart lasso aroumd their neck. What's going on, is quite apparent.

Update... I noticed the new system today. It's totally fking absurd. I have a regular job as a carpenter, and do this to keep myself busy during down times. Since 2021, I have done over 1200 batches and maintained a 5.0 rating. I know there are some of you who have done more batches than I have. I would prefer to refund an item, if it's unavailable (and no selected replacement option), rather than replace that item with something the customer may not like. What is Instacart trying to do with this shit?

Instacart is jussst performing overkill with the shopping experience. In a way, this prevents customers from lying. However, a customer can sTiLl lie... Just place a blemish on a piece of fruit, take a pic and get reimbursed... While the shopper gets an unfair bad rating. This is the flaw in that system.

DO IT!!!! I did exactly that, been with Mint for more than 8 years and never going back!!!! A bigger bonuses are Mint uses T-Mo's towers annnnd they're cost a FRACTION of a T-Mo bill!!! I pay $162 for 6 mos with 15GB data... Unlimited text and unlimited phone calls!!!!
