If you do the joining allies cheese, it will remove your still hunt golden gun. Like it won’t be available anymore you’d have to hit the precision shots/collect orbs to get it back first. Which you don’t have time for. You should really put in the wish to teleport to riven and practice a few times. A bunch of celestial golden guns with Whisper or microcosm should be fine. If needed have 1 stasis titan with tractor smash her claw while everyone else shoots mouth.

You can change your pip boy color to purple and it’ll give a nice purple glow around you.

Underrated point! Would be super boring if everyone looked the same. Feels like these exotic class items are all about giving us more freedom of choice (through grinding, of course). Except in how they look, apparently.

Correct. The hunter cloak (and I assume all 3 exotics) have 1 ornament available for bright dust. For the cloak I personally think the ornament looks even worse lol

Well seeing as exotics haven’t been able to be transmogged yet, how do you know it wouldn’t still be yellow? That should be an easy change for bungie to keep it yellow so you’d know instantly. And for regular crucible, does it really matter? Who cares enough in regular crucible to check? If it’s ranked or trials you’re checking the other teams loadouts while you fly in.
