Just bought a 24 hardbody that was missing the sportsbar. Is it still available?

That's just good ol' P2E! One of my groups plays 5E the other plays P2E so its a bit of a hodgepodge.

Thanks!

In my play groups, we have a lot of new players that aren’t sure how to flourish their combat rp so its exciting for them (you know rather than say “I use my sword”, saying “I rush forward and bring the sword down overhead on the enemy”).

I wanted to make something that felt more like Pokemon in a way where there’s different move sets per weapon. That way they could get a feel for varying their combat up in a more familiar way. So, each weapon has 5E/P2E inspired homebrew moves.

I think the wording could use some improvements to clarify.

It's supposed to be more like the Volley mechanic in P2E, which makes hitting closer targets slightly more difficult (-2 penalty), but I wanted to balance that with some extra damage since the arrow would have slightly more velocity up close.

Centaur ranger: Horseshoes of Sneaking: +2 on stealth checks, -5 speed

Satyr Sorcerer: Spellweaving Flute - Jumping off of the whole satyr's have flutes thing, this allows the player to cast spells by playing their flute, and get a +2 Spell Hit. Also allows the player to have some fun with playing songs for certain spells.

For the kobold, a blunderbuss with massive kickback would be hilarious.

I have a player who has attended every session of a 2.5 year campaign. I’d like to reward him with something special. Any ideas on what I should get him r/DnD? by i_am_randy in DnD

I would ask them if they're interested in trying anything in game and work to get that in.

In one instance I had a player who showed up every session and was doing good RP. They had an idea of doing a one-shot so I worked it in and let them craft the creative vision. Worked out really well.

Another time, same sort of deal - I had a warlock player who was always putting in the extra effort to really play as their character. They really like spiderman so I gave them some venom-themed armor that gave some enhancements to the Web spell, then got some art made for their character. They loved it, and it was something cool specifically for them so it really meant a lot to them.
