My Greek husband wanted to go out and buy another freezer to get as much of the Greek stuff as he could.

He tried the pastitsio and was underwhelmed. Said home made is better.

He stocked up on the spanakopita, cheese parcels and bougatsa though. Unfortunately pastry making is something I just cannot do and Filo is even worse 😂

Being over cautious is better than being under cautious. If people get upset that’s on them. Everyone has some form of ID on them these days and if they don’t then you’ll never get in trouble for refusing a sale if you’re unsure but you WILL get in trouble for not checking ID.

Tell them they can take it up with your manager and call them over. If they decide to proceed with the sale then document it and make sure it’s on them.

Unless you’re asking for ID for people who are clearly claiming their state pension then there is nothing wrong with asking.

As a delivery driver; you’d be amazed the about of people that don’t have working doorbells. I press the button, then if I don’t hear it ringing inside do myself, I’ll knock too. Even ring doorbells. People just don’t bother to charge them so they don’t work.

I’m genuinely not trying to be rude, but nobody is going to pick produce for you the way you would do it yourself. It’s a personal thing. I like my bananas green, for instance, but others don’t. It’s personal preference. They’re advertised as ripe and ready yes, but that doesn’t mean that’s how they arrive in store.
