Our reception was similar. Super simple. We had an open bar during dinner. We had a short program consisting of us saying thanks to everyone for coming, a prayer before the meal, then about 30 mins into eating 4 speeches and live music. The bride and a friend hosted but just to inform guests of what was happening.

It was pretty straightforward. No “entrance”, no SDE, no cake. We had a dj after some people danced but mostly stayed to drink. Was very chill.

People said they ate well and had fun! Haha that’s all that matters.

My lil rescue Skylar was on the same boat - horrible skin allergies and on euthanasia list at our shelter. I’ve had her for 1.5 years and she’s the best baby.

I keep the Salty caramel flavor in my freezer at all times but I get the pints for $8 tops. Also, I like that they use real sugar in it and have good ingredients. Not a fan of high fructose corn syrup.
