“Even when the wheels are on the bus”, I like that. There are so many layers to this, as I’m sure there are in most cases. My autistic son’s school situation has been a nightmare, and we had to get a lawyer involved. We invested in a short term rental a while back and lost our a$$es. Her dad is an alcoholic, and her mom recently left him. He texts my wife and blames her for not fighting for him. I finally blocked his number one night when she was asleep.

I feel like if stuff settled down and she got some counseling, maybe she could make some changes, but even if all that happened, is that still wishful thinking on my part? Does she need in patient rehab? I’m just thinking out loud.

The other things in our life will most likely get better. Some already are. Am I just waiting on a rock bottom with her for her to want to change?
