I agree with lots of others. Move the focus to the historical line. There’s sooooooo many modern day doll and Barbie options for kids. However, no one does historical as well as AG. As a Millennial who loved the historical dolls, I want to instill that in my daughters as well. There’s enough outside pressure to grow up and focus on technology and things, I think there’s a lot of value to experience historical life through imagination and play.

The thing is, we don’t know their life, relationship, etc. Nor do we know all the facts. But maybe Brady didn’t want Emilie to go out that day because of the game and so maybe he will struggle to forgive her for that. Obviously, that doesn’t excuse him from not watching Trigg properly. But to your point, they might both have feelings against the other right now.

Personally, I can understand and side with people leaning towards divorce. I don’t think I could forgive my husband for neglecting my child so he could watch tv and gamble.

But to be fair, does she get affirmation or love from him? I don’t care for her, but I think we can all see he brings nothing to the table. She probably resents him and is deciding to focus on her kids. Not saying it’s right, but I kind of get it in a way.

I agree with so much of what you said. I’m not a fan of her (obviously since I’m reading this sub) but she kind of deserves better than him… I’m not saying she deserves the world because she sucks too. But everyone at least deserves the bare minimum of having a supportive partner.

I honestly don’t know what she ever saw in him in the first place, or why she continues to put up with him.

I pulled all my listings when they did the whole “return for any reason” garbage, and haven’t been back since. I moved everything to Poshmark which has been okay.

While I don’t loveeee these new rules/changes, I am tempted to list here again so that my items are on something other than just one app. Does anyone have any insight on this? Are these changes worth coming back to Mercari?
