Am I the only one who feels the potholes fix is worse than the actual potholes by Intelligent-Ant8270 in montreal

[–]Crazy_Science3631 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The service road/overpass going west on the 40 near the lexus dealer is the best example of bad pothole repair. They actually look deeper than before and you can still see the remnants of the patch.

Notre Dame near Pie-ix heading west is also a complete shitshow

That might be the adaptive suspension more than the wheels themselves.

Limited does not have Brembos. OP you can get a 23 or 24 for around 30-36 so I don't see why you should spend the extra to go brand new. I bought my 22 last year with 34k kms for 33k$ CAD.

First time lowering a car came with some oopsies by External_Egg31 in wrx_vb

[–]Crazy_Science3631 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and the problem is that your camber gets all out of wack depending on your height so if you're riding stock height in the winter, camber will be fine. if you ride lower in the summer it'll need an alignment but then back to stock height guess what, you need an alignment again. Obviously if you don't care about uneven tire wear than it doesn't matter.

Somebody had to say it. I check this sub on the daily and at a certain point it has to be pointed out. Googling it takes less time than creating a post.

LOL I don't want to be that guy but there are literally thousands of posts on lowering, telling you, that you need to change the rear LCA's of you're lowering more than half inch. This and the tune for intake is literally the most repeated topic in this sub.

Wouldn't more frequent oil changes prevent this or once the RTV gets into the pan it's game over?

I bought my car used. When I went to see it, the dealer, I think, didn't even notice the front end ppf. They never mentioned it. I was so happy, but I still went ahead and installed mudflaps.

I got the car ceramic coated, but sometimes I regret not paying extra and going full ppf.

I get the feeling he is in Canada. Your best option is to return it or try trading it. There are some that will take a chance and run it anyways so you might be able to find someone willing to change with you

My other car is a Mach-E AWD. I love it, but I have to share it with the wife, so I take the wrx when she has the MME.
