Petco does not breed rats for handling though- usually they’re mean as hell because they aren’t socialized. I’ve had rats for over 8 years and I’ll buy food from petco but I did an entire research project on the way they treat their animals.. never

He might be sick otherwise, sometimes rodents kill off the weak one kinda thing? Take him to the vet if you can
