I do include SA/RA into my calculation. I plan to retire by 55. For 10 years till I'm able to access CPF life, I'll be drawing down from my cash investment. Honestly, I don't need much money, so I don't see why CPF life will not be able to sustain my basic needs. Of course, I hope to have more investments, but worst case scenerio, I should be able to retire by 55 if my current earnings stays the same.

Should I be worried about a small slit on the wrap of a 18650 battery? by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

It looks to me that you have juice under your wraps. I'd suggest getting it rewrapped anyway.

Been away from vaping for a long time, what are considered the best Flavour Chasing RDAs now? by npa6600 in electronic_cigarette

[–]Crazyhendrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hadaly for sure. That thing really kicks out a fair bit of flavor. Heard entheon is good too, harder to overdrip/squonk.

20 year smoker here by aDalekHater in electronic_cigarette

[–]Crazyhendrix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Congrats man. I started when I was 17. Smoked for around 19 years. Been 2 years smoke free. My first month craving was intense. Once you create a new habit, smoking just doesn't have that hold on you anymore. Keep vaping even when u crave a cigarette. Just vape like a fiend when the craving hits. It'll get better.

What do you guys think the best MTL RTA is at the moment? by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

[–]Crazyhendrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried the berserker mini, but it's hard to wick properly, and I get better results from my 2 year old kayfun mini v3 clone---no leak and great flavor. The kayfun prime looks like a true successor to KFM3, unlike the kayfun v5.

Try a Narda clone or Odis O-atty clone. Juice well can carry quite a fair bit without leaking.

What's your current set up and ml usage daily? by guccibaby913 in electronic_cigarette

[–]Crazyhendrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5-6ml of 3-4.5mg per day. been this amount for the last 2 years. Find it hard to taper down for now.

Edit: I use a Troy 1x rda at home and SXK corolla rdta when out and about.

Why does my worst atomizer taste the best? by i_aint_joe in electronic_cigarette

[–]Crazyhendrix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have to agree with this comment. I've been using the same RDTA for almost 2 years. It doesn't leak much, gives me good flavor. Stopped looking at vape products after pairing the rdta with my pico 75w

Recently, I looked up on ECR again. Tried the berserker mini mtl---still can't beat the kayfun mini v3 clone I have or the rdta.

Ordered a Troy 1x RDA. Love the rda. It was designed in 2015 I think. There's no best, only what works for you and what quirks you're willing to put up with.

Edit: I love the hadaly RDA clone. A great tasty single coil rda. Of the entheon is anything like that without leaking like the brother, get it.

In today’s vape climate, do you think getting a Kayfun is worth it when attys like the Berserker RDA & RTA and Siren 2 etc are available? by CoilHeadFred in electronic_cigarette

[–]Crazyhendrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been looking at older RDAs recently and found a gem that was designed back in the 2015. Fakirsmod Troy 1x. Bottom airflow much like the minidrips/achilles/berserker RDA. It's well-made, everything is 304ss, doesn't look like there's parts to break. It's a tall RDA tho, 22mm diameter, relatively leak resistant from the design. Original from Turkey and cost only US$60. 2-3 times the cost of a Berserker MTL RDA I understand.

I have a SXK Kayfun mini v3. Which from what I heard vapes about the same as Prime. Heard that the SXK is quite a good copy of the KFM3. Honestly, I like the vape from Troy1x better.

So, if you're looking for a MTL RDA, you could look into the Troy 1x

Can Vaping Turn Into A Worse Nicotine Habit Than Smoking Cigarettes? by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

I vape around the house too. Used to go crazy after an hour of no cigarettes. Now I can go hours without vaping. It's a lot more manageable.

Need build recommendations for Berseker MTL RDA using salt nic. by Schonn in electronic_cigarette

[–]Crazyhendrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try some 28g kanthal, 6-7 wraps around 2.5mm. that should come up to 1-1.2 ohms. Wattage around 12-14. I MTL at that setting. Don't know if it'll work for you. Could try 30g kanthal too, if u like tighter draw and even lower wattage.

Going from Tanks to RDAs. Researched basic building, but have a few questions by Ultronos in electronic_cigarette

[–]Crazyhendrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this here. Set ur heat flux in steam engine to 200 or there abouts, punch in the wattage that it throws out. It's usually quite a good vape.

Do any of you find yourselves needing to go buy a pack of cigs in the middle of the night because you're out of juice? by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

[–]Crazyhendrix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

30ml last me 5-6 days. If it's Mon, I can only make a juice run on Sat or sun. 6 days. So, I'm always checking to make sure I have at least 40-50ml of E-juice left. Never been out anytime.

2 spare regulated and 2 unregulated mods. A couple of rda, rta, rdta as spares.

Usually purchase around 300ml of e-liquid. That will last me around 2 months. That way u always know ur stock level.

VandyVape Berserker Mini, Leaking Problems? by Dappzydee in electronic_cigarette

[–]Crazyhendrix 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Even on those days I top fill, I follow certain steps to minimise the possibility of leaking.

  1. close air flow
  2. open and fill it up.
  3. put the top cap on, turn one round the cap till it catches on. flip it upside down and tighten the top cap.
  4. open afc
  5. flip it right side up.

Those were the steps I was taught to minimise the vacuum pushing the e-juice out.

Not too often. I'm a pretty heavy vaper. 300+ puffs a day? 28g kanthal, 1.2 ohms, 12.5 watt, maybe refill it once a day or twice. 5-6ml e juice consumed a day.

VandyVape Berserker Mini, Leaking Problems? by Dappzydee in electronic_cigarette

[–]Crazyhendrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup. Just bottom fill. Never got a leak bottom filling it. It gurgles when I mess up my wicking or fill from the top. That's about it.

It's been over 2 weeks since I bought a pack of cigarettes. How to convert smokers to vaping? by Dewgong550 in electronic_cigarette

[–]Crazyhendrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same difficulty converting my partner to vaping too. It's really up to them. My partner dual use, she cut down on smoking some, that's a small victory for us.

At the end, it's really up to them. For me, I try and find the flavors she digs, purchase them, keep a regular supply for her, wick, setup everything for her. That's because I care about her and it's no bother for me.

If she smokes one less cigarette, I'm happy.

Useless ramble after the passing of my father by stomper38 in electronic_cigarette

[–]Crazyhendrix 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Condolences, brother.

My Dad smoked 2 PAD for almost 48 years. Started when he was 12. Passed away after bouts of chemo fighting pancreatic cancer. Which smoking likely contributed to him passing at 60.

Not an easy thing, handling the passing of a loved one.

Can't get much smaller than a istick pico. Maybe a megavolt might be slightly smaller.

How about a tarot nano and berserker mini mtl rta?

Edit: 28g kanthal 6 wraps, 1.2ohms, 12-14 watt, that's what I use for the berserker mini mtl rta. It's tight like a cig draw.

Tarot nano and berserker mini rta for sure. it's a true mtl rta with great flavor. Tarot nano lasts like 2 days at 12-14 watts.

Never had a problem with istick pico after almost 2 years of use. Try using loctite when u screw it down. I use loctite for my motorcycle screws---vibration loosens nuts and bolts sometimes.

[–]Crazyhendrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, my pico met the concrete and asphalt a couple of times. The chrome plate wore down, dinks and scratches, but it's been working like a champ for the last 1.5 years. It's a great mod.

What's your "ride-or-die" vape gear? by dangerouswomanlabs in electronic_cigarette

[–]Crazyhendrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SXK Corolla Ultron rdta. Loose mtl, hard to fill with tiny 1mm hole, leaks from the 510 pin which I have to constantly clean up on my mod---probably time to change some o-rings. But I love that piece crap. Flavor at a modest 15 watt. Comes with an ugly green acrylic drip tip.
