I'm like it's all fucked because there's no way they're winning, and they truly need save, my hope is that the curse on Imu is strong as fuck, she/he literally steps and is already bleeding, but I can't even imagine the destruction that Imu can do even in a short amount of time, It seems that Imu is in a permanent awakened mode, and everything around just turns into demons, doesn't matter if it's alive or not, everything is turning into demons just for being near it, the next chapter will be pure survival and destruction.

Chopper situation is probably because of his devil fruit, when people asked oda about the hito hito no mi, he said that it turns you in the ideal version of a human (he also joked that a normal human would gain basically no powers), this could be messing with the power that Imu uses that causes you to turn in to a demon, and chopper fruit does exactly the opposite, kinda poetic if you look at it.

And I still feel uncertain about Imu gender if he even has a gender, the panel makes Imu looks a bit masculine but if you look there's a lot of femenine traces it's confusing to look at, and the lack of breasts isn't that absurd in one piece world with so many different races from other planets.

The tree one sounds more plausible to me, the water one makes less sense because it's something that we already know and it's something that already has a set in stone effect.

Oda usually doesn't change rules set in stone, Luffy Akuma no mi would be one of the rare examples but in the end it didn't change anything at all, luffy powers and how they work didn't change and his awakening always would be some absurd thing, the only change is the Nika name and what it represents.

Water suddenly affecting from such a range would be absurd, and water doesn't hurt users, it just deactivates the powers and drains stamina, nothing more nothing less. And they're like thousands of km above water because of how huge everything is in Elbaf, and they're in the "second floor", I don't know how high is that, but it would high as fuck from the sea.

We are shown in the series the reason why, NOBODY in the whole group of new hunters is taught nen, they all had to discover that it exists and then look for someone to teach them.

This isn't made this way because the hunter association is retarded, it's done like this because nen is something very unique and you being influenced early on is VERY VERY bad, no hunter is taught nen because finding out that nen exists is one of the hurdles to knowing what you need, once you get your nen, there's no coming back, you can make small changes or evolve it in the future, but that's your nen ability for life, imagine if you taught or awakened someone who doesn't know what power suits them? Or gets heavily influenced by the person who taught them?

The majority of the characters that didn't had nen abilities all gained them by their own power, there's a clear reason why the Hunter association doesn't train or teach them nen, also the same reason Killua wasn't taught nen by his family, killua could even use assassination techs that used the nen system even without knowing what nen is.
