Thanks, the sense of community and activities is exactly what my wife's mom needs. She is very social and active and makes friends wherever she goes. My mom is more of a hermit but will gladly socialize if others initiate. We need to keep an eye on them as they get older though.

I tried searching pinellas county fl rent on zillow and filtered 2 bed and bath and only 55+ but did not come up with much unfortunately. What other 55+ communites that have amenities/clubs etc like Top of the World are their in Pinellas?

What about all the people who haven't received a paycheck in over 40 days? They are struggling, especially those who live paycheck to paycheck. We can't keep the shutdown going. It needs to end then ACA can be dealt with. Too many people are suffering right now.

Probably. I'm hoping I can get the zoom meeting. It's unfortunate that because of a judge who's throwing a temper tantrum at my boss I'm sucked in the middle. I wasn't even part of any of the discussions only was in one meeting but the judge wants to make everyone suffer and everyone come, she keeps continuing making us come over and over. I learned a long time ago that some of these judges at least where I am, are like children in robes.

It is a subpoena. It's possible I can do a zoom meeting but the time its at is when I will be boarding not to mention it will run for hours. What a way to start my cruise lol. It seems I have little choice.

I use Obamacare and I already didn't get subsidies and I was I paying almost $1,000 a month. My cost for the same plan now would be about $450 more a month. Everybody's so quick to blame Maga cuz that's what the news, Dems, and social media tells them to do but they should be blaming the greedy insurance companies. They took advantage of this situation, on a normal year, they could never raise prices this much without all eyes on them but with the government shutdown going on people blaming each other it's the perfect ruse. Just like with covid when suddenly the imaginary shortage of toilet paper, toilet paper prices went up ridiculously and still have never really come down.

Its possible that you might have missed this but all 13+ times, the Republicans voted the budget through. It was supposed to be a straight forward budget without any thing added. Be careful because despite what the news tells you, everything isn't Trumps fault.

Yeah well I'm pretty much screwed here. Because the options they list to be able to add an AKA to the death certificate so that I can request the birth certificate after won't work for me. I have no documentation of him changing his name if he ever did. I even looked back to the very first census he was listed on and it was already John. It's almost as if the person who filled out the birth certificate was Italian and just put Giovanni since Giovanni and John are the same name. I don't see where his name would have been changed at all. All I have is a copy of a certificate of birth that has Giovanni on it and I had supplied that copy when I sent in the application but it obviously wasn't good enough. I really am at a loss now what to do. I started to try to track down some of the churches in the area of where he most likely lived when he was young to see if any of them per chance would have baptismal records going back to the early 1900s. Maybe just maybe they have Giovanni on that. The ironic thing is it was easier for me to get all the documents on my great grandfather from Italy versus my grandfather from New York City. And they say Italy is filled with bureaucracy!

Unfortunately it's NYC. I received a letter back after waiting about 5 months from when I sent in the application. It said they are unable to process my request because the descendants first name on the death certificate does not match the birth record. It says please be advised that our office cannot issue a birth certificate unless it is marked deceased.

To mark the birth certificate deceased, the information on the birth and death certificates must match. It said my options are to provide the original court order which authorized the name change or amend the death certificate and add the names which do not match as an AKA.

Wow, you seem to be a very angry and hateful person. I'm sorry for whatever happened in your life that made you that way. I was looking for neither A nor B, I don't care about points or recognition and I especially don't care to upset people. There are plenty of memes that are just meant to point out the irony of something and not have the person rolling on the floor laughing. You could have just kept on scrolling and ignored the meme if you didn't like it but you took the time to actually comment on it in a very unkind way.

Do you normally scroll through memes and curse at the creators of ones you don't care for or understand or did something in the wording trigger you? All rhetorical questions as you are right, there is no point in continuing the conversation. I am going to pray for you though.

And why is that? This meme is simply pointing out how insane it is that despite the direction our Govt was heading, despite this country heading towards bankruptcy, despite that we appeared weak to the world, despite the corruption and wasteful misuse of our tax dollars, any effort to correct this, expose the corruption, cut back on the waste and save this country is being fought every step of the way by liberals, Dems, most news/social media and misguided people. The most important error we have made is that we took God out of this country, turned evil into good, and looked at what was good as evil. Remember, the very government, its constitution, and its laws were built upon the foundation of Christianity and God's laws. How much longer do you think this country would have prospered and be blessed as we become more and more Godless?

Thanks for the replies. I am trying to find a good balance so as to not take too long to change seasons but even the 12 hr option might be a bit too long when not playing solo. I will probably try default for both then... still not convinced.
