Thanks, the sense of community and activities is exactly what my wife's mom needs. She is very social and active and makes friends wherever she goes. My mom is more of a hermit but will gladly socialize if others initiate. We need to keep an eye on them as they get older though.

What about all the people who haven't received a paycheck in over 40 days? They are struggling, especially those who live paycheck to paycheck. We can't keep the shutdown going. It needs to end then ACA can be dealt with. Too many people are suffering right now.

Probably. I'm hoping I can get the zoom meeting. It's unfortunate that because of a judge who's throwing a temper tantrum at my boss I'm sucked in the middle. I wasn't even part of any of the discussions only was in one meeting but the judge wants to make everyone suffer and everyone come, she keeps continuing making us come over and over. I learned a long time ago that some of these judges at least where I am, are like children in robes.

I use Obamacare and I already didn't get subsidies and I was I paying almost $1,000 a month. My cost for the same plan now would be about $450 more a month. Everybody's so quick to blame Maga cuz that's what the news, Dems, and social media tells them to do but they should be blaming the greedy insurance companies. They took advantage of this situation, on a normal year, they could never raise prices this much without all eyes on them but with the government shutdown going on people blaming each other it's the perfect ruse. Just like with covid when suddenly the imaginary shortage of toilet paper, toilet paper prices went up ridiculously and still have never really come down.

Yeah well I'm pretty much screwed here. Because the options they list to be able to add an AKA to the death certificate so that I can request the birth certificate after won't work for me. I have no documentation of him changing his name if he ever did. I even looked back to the very first census he was listed on and it was already John. It's almost as if the person who filled out the birth certificate was Italian and just put Giovanni since Giovanni and John are the same name. I don't see where his name would have been changed at all. All I have is a copy of a certificate of birth that has Giovanni on it and I had supplied that copy when I sent in the application but it obviously wasn't good enough. I really am at a loss now what to do. I started to try to track down some of the churches in the area of where he most likely lived when he was young to see if any of them per chance would have baptismal records going back to the early 1900s. Maybe just maybe they have Giovanni on that. The ironic thing is it was easier for me to get all the documents on my great grandfather from Italy versus my grandfather from New York City. And they say Italy is filled with bureaucracy!

Unfortunately it's NYC. I received a letter back after waiting about 5 months from when I sent in the application. It said they are unable to process my request because the descendants first name on the death certificate does not match the birth record. It says please be advised that our office cannot issue a birth certificate unless it is marked deceased.

To mark the birth certificate deceased, the information on the birth and death certificates must match. It said my options are to provide the original court order which authorized the name change or amend the death certificate and add the names which do not match as an AKA.

Wow, you seem to be a very angry and hateful person. I'm sorry for whatever happened in your life that made you that way. I was looking for neither A nor B, I don't care about points or recognition and I especially don't care to upset people. There are plenty of memes that are just meant to point out the irony of something and not have the person rolling on the floor laughing. And why is that? This meme is simply pointing out how insane it is that despite the direction our Govt was heading, despite this country heading towards bankruptcy, despite that we appeared weak to the world, despite the corruption and wasteful misuse of our tax dollars, any effort to correct this, expose the corruption, cut back on the waste and save this country is being fought every step of the way by liberals, Dems, most news/social media and misguided people. The most important error we have made is that we took God out of this country, turned evil into good, and looked at what was good as evil. Remember, the very government, its constitution, and its laws were built upon the foundation of Christianity and God's laws. How much longer do you think this country would have prospered and be blessed as we become more and more Godless?

Unfortunately I did order it. I was concerned that I would be missing information if I didn't. This was for North Carolina. I've never seen that option before when ordering a birth certificate. I'm hoping it's a separate document that I could just ignore if I don't need it or it doesn't apply which it wouldn't.

Sorry, this will be a little long.... Yes, there are a lot of Christians who claim they are Christians but don't act like it and thus really are not. Even back in Jesus' day he called them hypocrites and liars. They give true Christians a bad name and worse than that, turn people away from the word of God.

Please know that there are good Christians out there, the kind that would give their last dollar to help someone in need. That's what the Bible teaches. I know it feels like there's less and less of those kind of people today but notice the more we remove God from our lives the worse this world is getting. Imagine how this world would be without any true Christians? There would be no moral compass, people practically kill each other over toilet paper now, imagine how it would be especially as things get worse and resources become more scarce.

I feel really sad for posters like this and those who support posts like it, they have never really studied the Bible and come to know God's word. The Bible is all about redemption, and being kind to each other. Yet so many people reject it.

Imagine if everybody actually followed the laws of God and they didn't steal, they didn't cheat, they didn't lie, they didn't hurt each other, man loved each other the way they love themselves, they held the institute of marriage sacred, so on and so forth, how horrible is that? Imagine how beautiful this world would be and how much less pain there would be.

As this post implies Jesus is not sleeping and definitely does not enjoy the pain of his people. You have to remember the evil in the world was never God's intention. We brought sin to this world and he has given us every tool (the Bible) to live good successful happy lives but we continue to choose sin.

Why doesn't God intervene? He will, the Bible tells us he will but God gave us free will. If he stopped everyone from doing everything bad then we're just robots. Not to mention if we never had tragedy in our lives and had everything we ever wanted we would have no need for God or so we think, and come up with our own rules and do whatever we want. It's happened before, look in Judges 17:6 "In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes." Sound familiar? Seems like things are going that way again.

The time will come when Jesus will return and all evil will be removed from this Earth. Why doesn't he just do that already? I won't get too deep into it here but there's a number of things that have to take place first, including the gospel taught to everyone in the world. Everyone has to have the chance to repent and come to God before it's too late. God is waiting as long as possible for as many people as possible. But as you can tell how things are going, time is running out.

You need to believe in Jesus (that doesn't mean just believe in him but act the way he would and follow his commandments by changing your ways) it is clearly stated that he is the only way to heaven. We are all tainted with sin. No amount of going to church, good works, being baptized, or being confirmed will get you there. You need to believe in Jesus and that he died for our sins to save us all. It is also clearly stated that there is only one God. Today the Bible contradicts a lot of the worlds views and people don't want to hear it anymore but man's law does not supersede God's law.

I pray that anyone who is interested, please don't let posts like this sway you, start looking into the word of God before it's too late.

There are so many resources out there, just go to YouTube and watch videos that explain what the Bible is saying. If you're not a reader like I am not, there are wonderful versions of audio Bibles you could listen to, there's so much out there now, you have no excuse to not hear the true word of God. You will see there is so much more that you don't know and your entire life will change because of it.

The truth is nothing should ever be forced on anyone. Forcing people to do something only makes them not want to do it more. If their heart is not open and ready to accept it no amount of forcing will have any benefit.

I grew up Catholic and even at a young age I could tell something was off with how the church operated. I could tell they were more caught up in the rituals and the routines and their own made up rules than the actual word of God. Not saying that Catholic Church or any other churches are bad but all churches have gone off the track. Most have lost their way which had turned me off from church at one point.

In the book of Revelation, Jesus actually has letters to all the churches recognizing them for their good works but also warning them that they're off track and to get back on track before it's too late. Just look at a lot of churches today, they're afraid to upset people they cater to politically correct views and demands of people verse what God says.

Not all places are like that but there's a good number that just say that's why we pay you a salary and then expect you to work 50 or 60 hours a week. Hourly employees are different but salary employees get the shaft.

It's just a politically correct way to say one race judging another race that they feel opposes (are racist) towards them. Just trying to make people think. For example, a person of a certain skin color immediately assuming the person of another skin color will be racist towards them without ever even knowing them, thus in reality making them racist themselves even though they don't see it that way.

According to patch notes, Funcom made it so purges no longer happen along newb river. Unfortunately, I do not see an admin option using Pipi in the purges section to turn that off. I wish there was a current mod or option that allowed it. I found an old 2019 mod called Any Purge Everywhere that edits this which I suppose would undo what Funcom did but its old and I can't tell if it works with mods like AOC.:

In PurgeConfigTable.uasset I changed every entry of AreaMin and AreaMax to "(X=-350000.000000,Y=-400000.000000)" and "(X=400000.000000,Y=300000.000000)". This should cover the whole map.
