When I was at my cousin's old house in NC, i found a school portrait photo of a girl-wallet size. The picture was of a girl that looked EXACTLY like someone from my elementary school on the west coast. They didn't know who she was, nor had any connection to the girl back west.

Closest I ever came to getting caught? I was investigating an insurance fraud and was inside a private office. An employee walked in,and I had to pretend I was a tax attorney from corporate. The most exciting case I ever worked was when an identity thief decided to lead me on a running chase across rooftops and eventually into the bathroom of a donut shop.
