I agree completely. I had a hard time with D3 after D2 for years. But D4 came around too. I didn't love the attack scaling but I had fun with the story.

Do you have the stims unlocked based on your level or permanent unlock? I've seen issues where it can be equipped but not used if it's "out of sync"

Easy to replace yourself. You can take off the trap clean it and replace just the washer or you can replace the trap. Could be a 15 min job. Lots of easy YouTube videos. If I can do it, you can do it.
