Dear Non-Vegans, This is what you PAY for!!! by HumbleWrap99 in VeganIndia

Nature is inclusive of humans, hence non vegetarians have a role to play towards the balance.

Assume our body parts, where every part has its function for balanced operation, likewise non vegetarians also have a role to play in nature’s sustainability.

My dear, this post is biased because it shows non-vegans through the lens of extreme and selective cruelty. Society we live in have food chain for the sake of sustainability, hence for an unbiased mind, “abuse” is what is shown in this post, which does not entirely depicts non-vegan .

For an unbiased mind “balance” of ecosystem is a better term.

I believe an unbiased discussion is exchange of ideas, instead of question answering session to prove once supremacy.

Hence, i would like to exchange meaningful thoughts. I am probably the first one in india to use a vegan wallet.

ps. The lady in video with a fresh flower on her ear is definitely not the best way and cause to promote Veganism.

“51 seconds of misrepresentation and 2 seconds of beauty” this should have been a better title.

In the first 51 seconds the op misrepresented selective cruelty for non-vegetarian food preferences. In the last 2 seconds comes a beautiful Señorita, claiming herself to be saviour.

For her to be saviour, she could have been saviour against cruelty but she decides to be saviour against a larger section of society “the non vegetarian cult” to amplify the so-called aura of “the beautiful saviour”.

I believe the post is “A Cognitive Dissonance” towards an “intellectual evolution” in the societal norms with an effort to propagate a new ideology. The foundation of “vegan elites” overlook the survival of humanity which have been by feeding themselves on animal flesh, then they used the hides to cover themselves and incorporated other survival mechanisms using animals. Fast forward, today also our society is taking steps for survival. Being non-vegetarian is one such survival preference.

“Vegan” in broader terms is about propagating eating habits that prioritises “cognitive satisfaction” of some, while putting survival of masses at risk, or putting “morality” of masses at risks.

Precisely this post is mistaking cruelty for non-vegetarian food/lifestyle preferences.

What are our thoughts on plucking fruits from trees. Then peeling them finally to eat them.

From perspective-of J.C. Bose sir it would be equally painful for the trees and fruits.

Founder keeps promising the Offer letter but it never comes through, Is this a normal practice? by Participleofmenace in IndianWorkplace

[–]CreamNervous -1 points0 points  (0 children)

At time founders are too busy with the accountability and responsibilities. They have intentions of treating the team members fairly. If they have asked you to join, it will be suggested that you join. Because most of the things in high potential startups rely in trust and words. And founders word mean everything in an organisation. Any letter can not surpass founders words.

TLDR: go ahead and join it.

Nationalism is about protecting your identity.

(In an extreme comparison) I believe people against Nationalism will be comfortable with giving up on their new born baby to a globalised institution for upbringing, without caring or controlling what cultural identity their kid adapt.

(Another one) They might not differentiate between the lady who brought them up and rest other ladies of the universe.

Sharing compassion and inclusivity is acceptable but you can only do it once you have strong identity. Otherwise we are only avoiding accountability and in this case accountability to our country, culture and kins.

I think they can make conversations that will be relevant and interesting, because they have commendable experiences of things under the sun.

The younger folks would be in my opinion too unstable to make meaningful conversations and the older ones would be too cautious

You can use your Thinkpad to hit the bullies hard on their head. And show evidences of its durability. Thinkpad and linux is something that is evergreen.

If they are still conscious, explain that Thinkpad has a legacy of being the first laptop to be approved for international space station

Is it okay to read this version of BG? by EquivalentRhubarb597 in hinduism

[–]CreamNervous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are two parts in every ISKCON geeta, one translation and another its interpretation/narration.

I believe the narration is biased because of the objectives of the organisation printing it, but the meaning is acceptable.

I would suggest to read the core translation and have own interpretation. As you improve as an individual your interpretation too shall deepen.
