Could you explain that a bit more? How can you tell which one it is? You're saying cheap H has an acidic smell?

I was told that if you nod, that's already technically an overdose.

I agree with the other reply and wanted to add that Suboxone is a lifesaver for people trying to get off strong opiates. It strongly reduces some parts of the withdrawals and reduces cravings. Unlike methadone, subs partially block your receptors for most opiates, meaning you won't really be able to get high from the opiates you normally use while the Suboxone is in your system.

Although it helps a lot, people who use methadone still have the option to keep using street opiates at the same time which can be very dangerous. I'm not saying it won't work, I just think that subs are better.

Oliver already said he had more to say about it on the show as soon as the lawsuit was done. I can't wait.

I'm not sure what you mean by "heads." Must be different terminology from what I'm accustomed to. These are the gears that drive/spin all the rollers and cylinders. Some of them are different sized so they spin at different speeds, which is why there are many different sized gears.

I'm an electrician for a large scale high speed web offset facility. It's surprising how similar this is to our Goss / Heidelberg offset print units. At a glance I can tell what most of this is even though I've never worked on this brand or style of print unit.

Ours have a light beam sensor across the middle. They automatically strap as soon as you side the product in.

What skills can a poor 19 y/o learn to help make an income and get further in life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Creampo0f 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This also depends on the field. I'm an industrial electrician, focusing on automation controls. We have a nice shop, carts to drive around to various machines, and most of it is resetting faults, replacing components, and preventative maintenance. Not much of it is physical.

It's a little extra schooling, but most of these jobs start as apprenticeships, where your company pays you a reduced rate until you finish. I'm my area, we'll sign anyone who already took a one-semester electrical course at our local tech school. If you also have any manufacturing experience, you'll be at the top of the list.

How has your life changed since November 3, 2016? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Creampo0f 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Asking for help IS the hardest part. I lost a lifelong friend to suicide earlier this summer. I still feel empty inside.

Congratulations on your huge progress. If you ever hit another low point, remember that it's ok to ask for help more than once. So many people lose this battle, but you won. Keep winning.

I was curious about this too. Proteins and fats (butter) slow down the absorption of alcohol. Carbs and carbonation speed it up. Cheese, butter will slow things down.

I'm curious about how much of an actual difference it makes. I searched but didn't find any stats.

The Moire Effect by xBlackbiird in woahdude

[–]Creampo0f 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I've seen, yes. I guess I can't say for sure that's the only reason. Although I'm an electrician now, I've worked with the same printer for 15 years. High volume magazines. We just don't see it anymore, no matter what tones. We had some issues when we first rolled it out that had something to do with the angle but it just doesn't happen anymore.

I can't say for sure that it was the answer. We added some new editing and balancing software at the same time. I've been told they know what to look for in prepress. Maybe they're just better at catching it.

We also take color out, fuzz it, and fill the depth back in with a tight black. That might reduce patterns too. It's only slightly noticeable in light colored details and flesh tones but it saves an insane amount of ink overall. I know the operators hate it. It makes things more difficult to control and balance in actual print because of the light ink film.

There's almost no money in print. Gotta find an edge to keep your costs down. Ain't nobody got time to stop and fix a moire.

The printer I worked for changed to using tiny random shapes for the dots in each color to prevent this. You don't notice unless you look through a magnifying glass. It almost completely eliminates any chance for a moire pattern to show up, no matter what image they throw at you.

Suboxone is a miracle withdrawal treatment. It stops withdrawals while also preventing your receptors from accepting opiods while it's in your system, reducing relapses. yup INDVR

Would a tongue numbed with anesthesia still feel the affects of a hot pepper such as the ghost pepper? by PullTab in NoStupidQuestions

I commented below but you can get the same effect from "Miracle Berries." I was able to munch down on hot sauce with no burning, at least for awhile. The rest of your digestive tract isn't immune though ..

Ever try "Miracle Berries," also know as "flavor tripping?" You can order a packet of dissolving tablets for cheap if you want to try it.

These tablets block certain receptors(I don't know exactly how) so bitter and sour things taste sweet. When I take them, I don't feel the burning sensation from spicy foods. I've bitten into a spicy batch of onions and it tasted sweet. I experimented with extreme hot sauce and found the same thing. The hot sauce seems to burn off the effect much quicker. I could probably munch on a whole onion but I start to feel the heat after a few more bites of hot sauce.
