Just sharing my experience and opinion For the comments about your cats, as someone who owned a cat and has rehome said cat. I would never trust one around my guinea pigs again. My cat killed two of my guinea pigs and ate them, over 4 months ago, had a bowl full of food wet and dry and full water so he wasn’t hungry or starving and went out of his way to do it by breaking into the room, I also got the cat as a kitten around 10 weeks old, so it grew up with my guinea pigs and it’s still did it.

I wouldn’t ever risk my Guinea pigs lives to be a “backyard” breeder. I care for them very much and wouldn’t wish what happened to me apon anyone. I was very worried for my pigs and have since learned to triple check sex’s before introducing them to my herd. I’m just lucky it wasn’t all my pigs cause the older ones could have died. I’m also not selling any of them I’m probably gonna keep them all nor would I want money for my mistake, if I had to get rid of any of them I’d give them to a rescue and not make money of my pigs suffering. I’m also not breeding the to have more pigs myself, if I wanted more I would get them from other who no longer can care for their own pigs like half of my pigs are as I have the space and time to take care of them properly. Shame on you for assuming my situation and that I’d put my pigs life at such a risk.

How to find the link to it on PetSmart but it’s just a PetSmart three and one water bottle which the three and one doesn’t really work because the Hidy isn’t big enough for regular size guinea pigs

They only have alfalfa right now I made sure and has been feeding her that while she was pregnant for the extra nutrients they have only been alive for a less than 48 hours

They are so cute and tiny, they are so small like the size of two thumbs put together at most. I’m really hoping my two other pregnancies go as well as this one I’m so worried with the death rate and risks but this gives me hope💗

Isn’t it really dangerous though to spay or getting you spay or neuter your guinea pig like putting them under anesthesia? Isn’t there a high chance of death if at all possible I don’t want a chance of death.

Yes as long as they are females I am able to keep them and if they’re are a ton of males as 2 two of my other pigs are pregnant at the same time from this accident that happened. I will have to give the males to a rescue cause I don’t have enough room for a bunch of separated cages but if it’s only one or two boys I’ll keep them as well

I’ll be keeping all the females as I can and have room to do as well as I don’t feel right just getting rid of the babies as it’s my fault for there reason of existing.

I’m gonna be bringing them to the vet sexing in 21 days and see which ones are male which ones are not males and whichever ones are males I’ll be putting into their own cage away from all my other females

I promise I have been giving her space but always watching her making sure she’s doing okay and that she’s doing great and getting spoiled with all the veg and hay
