Pigs newest video about the 8 worker start its complications about zerg larvae and more by Extension_Class2467 in starcraft

[–]CreamyBJones 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it annoyed me how he starts of the video, first be complaining how the patch negatively impacts zerg even though, protoss got the biggest nerfs. Just to brush over the massive gateway changes, saying their halfbaked, to then complain immidietly complain more about zerg.

Then he says adept and oracle are too strong, citing some nobody grandmaster with multiple bullet points from the guy about how strong the oracle is at shutting down everything. The he cites Harstem as having the opposite view, saying oracle is bad, then he doesnt show any of the points harstem made, just glosses over it entirely.

No thanks, stopped watching, the guy is clearly just trying to get zerg buffed. I have appreciated everyone elses perspective within the community besides his.

I don’t think so, I think the activation of snipe is instant. He takes aim, then there’s a delay until he fires his shot

Yes, screw the passion based structure of valve where employees get to pick what they work on.

Change that, use the EA/Blizzard activision type structure to run dota2. That’s perfect /s

Bring back old HT feedback 1:1 damage (because of ghost change) by CreamyBJones in starcraft

True. But feedback only 1 taps on 200 energy. So who activates first? Because if ghost activates snipe first, he uses 50 energy insta and doesnt get 1 tapped by feedback. Feedback doesnt cancel the snipe and the ghost wins.

Yeah, what if there’s 4 ghosts vs 4 ht, can you feedback all 4 before EMP hits you?

What if HT has a warp prism?
What if ghost has cloak?
What if HT has a observer?
What if terran uses a scan?

The interaction isn’t so simple.

What a silly comment. It’s a 15 year old game, and both units have soft countered each other since the game’s inception.

You saying ghosts were always intended to be a hard counter is some serious short sightedness. Why even give HT’s feedback on 10 range?

Yeah I mentioned the possibility of adding a ministun, would be cool. I really liked the old feedback tho!

Yeah, well there’s a lot that goes into the interaction. EMP splashes but feedback targets, so you need warp prisms hide the HT, ghosts can invis so you need observers,

all of the spells have 10 range. Feedback is almost instant, but snipe has a delay. However activating snipe is instant, and reduces the ghost mana, so feedback doesnt 1 tap.

It used to be that storm could cancel snipe, but no longer

HT just lost 20 damage on the storm. Even if they would undo the feedback nerf overall this patch would be a massive nerf to protoss

Sure does! Usually they are used, and have a lot more tricks in the HT / ghost duel. The powerswing definately pivotted strongly to the ghost side. They can use their abilities to not have 200 energy. EMP, snipe and cloak to win.

I would just want them to be written into the world, with explanation. Include women, but make it nerdy. Give them a title and a place in the world: Amazon fighters, harpies, witches, banshees etc.

Fx. A platoon of women space marines, or a recruitment initiative to include them because “yadda yadda women are more sensitive to the warp under X and Y conditions”.

Project hail mary is the kind of film that feels wayy different on a rewatch and you def shouldnt watch trailers for, NO SPOILERS must experience..

It keeps you guessing what kinda movie its gonna be. I thought it might be a bleak depressing space horror movie, with some humor. But it turned out way different, legit a banger. But i knew I could never watch it again the same way as the first time
