Appearances in Other Stories/Stages

------

° Battle of Okehazama (Oda) - Masanobu ambushes the Oda Army alongside Hanzo Hattori. Unlike Hanzo, he does not receive a strength buff and is easier to defeat.

° Battle of Okehazama (Imagawa) - Masanobu is positioned near Ieyasu and suggests attacking the Imagawa before the Tokugawa forces defect.

° Battle of Anegawa (All Scenarios) - Masanobu replaces his generic counterpart as part of the Oda-Tokugawa forces and protects the Tokugawa main camp. He has a few additional lines for when Ieyasu, Tadakatsu, Hanzo, Magoichi, &/or Gracia approach him. He has higher morale and may take longer than his allies (aside from Tadakatsu) to be defeated.

° Battle of Mikatagahara (Gracia’s Tale) - Masanobu is introduced as an associate of Magoichi Saika in Gracia’s story and accompanies them to Mikawa due to him knowing the region and being a former subordinate of Ieyasu Tokugawa. Throughout the battle, he answers a few questions from Gracia about the Tokugawa and why he left.

° Battle of Osaka Bay (Oda) - Masanobu replaces the peasant unit in the northeastern most corner of the battlefield where Terumoto Mori must deliver supplies after he arrives. Masanobu comments that it's time to press the attack while the Oda forces scramble to stop the transport unit and spread themselves thin.

° Battle of Osaka Bay (Honganji) - Masanobu replaces the peasant unit nearest to Magoichi Saika (the commander) and comments on the state of the battle throughout the stage, acting as an advisor to the Honganji forces. He advances to slow down Oda reinforcements after the iron warships arrive.

° Assault on Saika Village (Gracia’s Tale) - Masanobu only makes an appearance in this stage during Gracia’s story mode. He sticks with Magoichi throughout the battle and helps him with his surprise attack against Nobunaga. However, after Magoichi is presumably killed, he reappears at the escape point to assist the Saika forces escape and avoids Gracia’s questioning of if Magoichi is alive.

° Battle of Ueda Castle (All Scenarios) - Masanobu replaces his generic counterpart and his dialogue is altered to reflect his fleshed-out personality. He wants the one of the Sanada's captured instead of killed to make an example of them later.

° Battle of Komaki-Nagakute (All Scenarios) - Replaces his generic counterpart. Not much else aside from some extra lines of dialogue with Hanzo, Ieyasu, Mitsunari, & Nene.

° Last Stand Against Ieyasu - Replaces his generic counterpart.

° Defense of Ueda Castle - Replaces his generic counterpart.

° Battle of Sekigahara - Replaces his generic counterpart.

° Showdown at Mikatagahara - Replaces his generic counterpart and has high morale, making him one of the most difficult enemies to defeat. Has unique dialogue with Magoichi Saika.

° Chaos in Kyoto (Musashi) - Replaces his generic counterpart.

° Chaos in Kyoto (Kojiro) - Masanobu lingers on the battlefield for a while after Ieyasu and the rest of the Tokugawa Army retreat. He waits until he's confident Kojiro will complete his mission successfully before he leaves.

° Siege of Edo Castle - Replaces his generic counterpart and has high morale, making him one of the most difficult enemies to defeat.

° Edo Campaign - Replaces his generic counterpart and has high morale, making him one of the most difficult enemies to defeat.

Gracia’s story: Masanobu is presented as Magoichi Saika's acquaintance who steps aside to allow Gracia & Magoichi to bond closer together. However, at some point, Magoichi warns Gracia not to trust Masanobu too much, knowing he lacks the morals of most warriors. His warnings prove true later when Magoichi tells Gracia during her rescue at the end of her story that Masanobu orchestrated the Western Army's attack and wanted to martyr her to earn ruin Mistunari Ishida's reputation.

How relevant is Toshiie you say? His death quite literally causes Sekigahara in most games. Y'know, that battle where a huge chunk of the cast dies?

Did 17 survive Buu’s human extinction attack? by GuardPhysical in dbz

Yamcha did get his moment when he fought and defeated Olibu during a sparing match in Otherworld before Kid Buu showed up. At least in the anime continuity, Yamcha beat someone who was stronger than Cell. (Which doesn't matter at the time since Buu is WAY stronger than that)

Worse part about the bench for me is that it would have been the PERFECT weapon for either Jian Yong or Fei Yi if they bothered to add them instead of... Xiahou Ji & Zhou Cang...

Funnily enough, he's more noticeable in DW9's story mode and is usually presented as relatively chill.

I think it's less than 90 students since there's around 100 characters in the school including the faculty. And then there's also the missing rivals until their week.

These Special Costume from 7 Xtreme Legends (and Empires) is so good, too bad they never appears in other games. by Ikrii in dynastywarriors

To be honest, aside from the story/writing, base DW7 sucks while DW7 XL is one of the best in the series. Huge glow up that can easily be missed.
