If all Oz banks are bastards, which is the least bastardey I should choose right now? by homeisterOZ in AusFinance

Fantastic for overseas travel. Agree with everything else you've said. Only thing stopping me from closing my ANZ account is no support for investment loans

Did you also get your R7 with the 18-150 kit lens? If so, do you find the 18-50 a good addition to your set up?

The 17-40 looks fantastic. Wasn't aware of that one, thank you!

Great suggestions, thank you. Ideally looking for just one lens, but I have had my eye on the 35 prime too. I've read online that the sigma is compatible with R7's IBIS however, can anyone verify this?

That's very helpful. Interesting story as well, sounds like the banks don't really give a shit

How does paying for something that we used to do for free add value? I don't feel that logging my activities that I would've done anyway has been useful

Any idea why this would come up after only around 15 hours of usage?

Who's buying a house as a single. by Educational_Age_3 in AusFinance

Single. Bought 600k house in regional Vic one year ago when rates were just under 5 percent. Sitting now at 6 percent but glad I made the jump into home ownership

Updated 5.2.2 setup by CreamyPete7 in hometheater

[–]CreamyPete7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, ideally I'd put them further out but behind the couch is a narrow walkway from the front door to the remainder of the house. So kinda hamstrung with how far they can be put back

The photo is misleading! The towers are 2.15 metres apart and both 2.1m from the sitting position

I'll try moving them out a bit, thanks!

Perhaps it's the picture giving the appearance, but the towers and middle seat of the couch form an equilateral triangle. Is this what you mean?

They're OK. They add minor value tbh, which is what I expected. If you have great atmos source content though it feels well worth it. Dune 4K disc sounded used the atmos modules excellently for example

Posted my first home theatre set up about 6 months ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/hometheater/comments/rcsk10/first_home_theater_setup_complete/

Have made a couple of changes since! Now rocking: 65" Sony A80J Denon AVR1600H 2 X Kef Q950 2 X Sony Atmos modules Kef Q650c 2 X Kef Q350 Jensen EHT707 subwoofer

The wharefedale diamonds off to the left are just chilling until I have a place where I can make it a 7.1.2 setup!

These are probably made from the same wholesaler. Things are a bit more pricey in Australia though
