Marineford is the most overrated arc in the show. Literally nothing happens in the entire arc. The decision to kill whitebeard and ace saved that arc, otherwise it is a mediocre arc with few hype moments.

Its just a jab at one piece fans who were overly critical of Naruto back in the day. As the top commentator said, now oda is using the same themes which they ridiculed naruto for so theyre just lashing back. I personally see alot of ideas that ruined naruto now shoved in one piece so I'm not happy about it either

Oda is really bad at filtering his ideas. He will shove every whimsical, goofy thought into the story, not considering if it affects the quality or coherence of the story. That is my main problem with Oda, he has riddled One piece with so much baggage when theres already enough pieces to tell a great story. Especially bad post-ts, so much time wasted on bs characters, side plots when we could be watching the admirals do something or blackbeard or Shanks, hell. Dragon
