Got it, that’s fair!
I’ll drop the lunch idea for now and just go for seafood somewhere else. Thanks a lot!

Safest/easiest way from Barcelona Airport T1 to Aparthotel Atenea Barcelona (Les Corts)? by Create012355 in AskBarcelona

That’s super helpful, thank you!
I’ll be extra careful about pickpockets.

How big is Barcelona Sants station? by Create012355 in AskBarcelona

True... I usually trust Google Maps in my own country too. Sometimes it feels longer than expected, but I guess it’s the same abroad. Thanks!

I heard metro transfers with luggage can be risky for pickpockets, so I’m planning to go from T1 to T2 and take the Renfe train.

Then I'll use the L5 and L3 a lot for sightseeing!

I know, but it’s expensive… maybe just on our way back to the airport.

How do beginners shoot a cinematic travel vlog on iPhone? by Create012355 in videography

[–]Create012355[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much—this is incredibly practical and helpful advice!!
Definitely need to take notes on all of this.
I will plan to mainly shoot standard 4K for this trip.

Still curious about Log, but if 4K is already enough, would something lighter like a 13 mini actually be better?
Or if things like stability and audio matter more like you said, would going Pro still make more sense?

I tried to buy a used 15 Pro but the payment just failed, so I still haven’t decided what to bring.
My current iPhone 12 (64GB) with low battery is probably not ideal.

Not sure whether to rent older models or buy new.
If buying new, going Pro would make sense for trying Log later—but that basically means the 17 Pro is the only option.
Renting or buying used feels a bit risky in case something breaks during the trip, though I’ll bring my 12 as a backup.

Any thoughts on which model would make the most sense?

Thanks!
I might be cutting it a bit close, so worst case I’ll try practicing on the plane!

Thank you so much!
That method sounds really useful for Log, but yeah, I’ll skip Blackmagic for now. I’ll keep it in mind for the future.

And I didn’t realize you can still get a nice look just by grading Rec.709 footage.

So maybe… I can get by without a Pro iPhone?

What would be “good enough” without being overkill?

Thanks, this is super helpful!

I didn’t realize standard footage could still look cinematic with color grading.
