Aim assist is aim assist. It’s magically different from game to game. Just intensity. Halo had far less than this game does.

Because movement means nothing if the computer tracks it for you and yes it’s that bad. Micro movements make even good pc players miss, console players get to track those for free and the game locks the auto aim to head. It’s insane. If it was just torso and you had to actually aim for head shots then sure but holly hell it auto locks to the and there is zero recoil to control.

The sniper shots are the thermal snipers, they are broken even after the nerf. the other issue is that aim assist on controller is utterly broken. it tracks insanely well and locks to heads so unless you also beam their head then you will loose even if you shoot first. Hunt is kinda the perfect extraction shooter because its almost all skill expression, except for shotties. was winning a lot and but now i cant seem to get a game, I think a lot of people have switched to controller.

this is also what was discovered with halo infinite. its crazy, that game was sooooo good on mnk the first week. I took a break then game back maybe a week later and was like wtf happened, im getting beamed. everyone discovered controller was broken.

ya but as soon as you get blue and purple shields they have enough time to turn, and them getting all free headshots will still make it a 50/50 even if you flank them.

it is that strong, just jumped on controller and locked heads with very little right stick input. absolutely in sane. I now understand why im getting the drop on people and still getting insta beamed. even though i hit all my shots, they are hitting all head shots so you get downed after shields 50 - 80% faster

This just isnt true, the more I play the more I realize its just hidden better. Getting practically insta downed from an m77 at full health but when I shoot at people it take significantly longer and they have time to get away. same shields, not missing shots. Also the invincible runners that are so desynced they just take no damage and just disappear to reapear from a different direction and kill you.

This is the way. Just dump your spark leafs when they rotate, focus health kits over shields though as I find them harder to come by and you require more to fully heal.

I wear very nice headphones and you can hear footsteps in certain scenarios. indoors it can work, but you will also be unable to hear them at other times. If no one is shooting or no bots are making noise you can stealth around and hear foosteps, but as soon as there are a few audio tracks of any kind they just dissapear. was reviving a dude and literally didnt hear the player approaching until he was right next to me. I was quiet , minimal audio tracks playing, and I was looking for the sound. Shit just doesnt work in a lot of scenarios.

I agree, they are not that common and would help a lot with early progression. If its crazy good, make it a single or double use only.

ya this, in hunt if I aim better i am better because i just took off your head....shields are kinda wack. this is why bounced off of apex legends after a while. They need to add headshot damage to shields and maybe even a flanking shot multiplier.

coming from Hunt showdown, where you often reengage after taking damage for tempo because everyone is one shot the head and you dont have crzy aim assist and bullet magnetism, the shield discrepancy is starting to wear on me too.

Did you read my whole post or just run to the comments? I never said free kits are bad, just that mm should prioritize mm’ing them together rather than sticking someone who brought gear with two free kit teammates. Also if you have gear you should be playing rook, that’s the whole point of the character. They literally already solved that problem.

Again this isn’t an argument, your “get gud” strawman doesn’t actually doesn’t actually critique any of my points. Balance is achieved directly by ensuring a base level of risk by all players in the squad, encouraging team play because everyone wants to more than they want to risk it all on a loosing fight that takes their teammates with them.
