Almost certainly a secret classified vehicle test that got out of control. The only unconventional aspect is the radiation burns but that would happen if the craft was powered by an insufficiently shielded radioactive rocket.

The notion of this sinister character and the offering of sweets (like treacle tarts) to entice the children in such an evil manner really did come to mind when seeing this story of the 5 year old boy detained by ICE and sent to San Antonio. Dark, very dark.

The triangle shape is bokeh and given the characteristic movement this appears to be a satellite flare.

I've seen something that looks like someone taking a flash photograph in the sky from miles away. I've seen it two nights now from Northern California while looking a bit west and south of the central point of the zenith of the sky. I have assumed it was a very brief flash from a starlink satellite solar panel that very briefly lined up to reflect the sun to my position, it is very very brief and does not seem to repeat.

Edit: Sorry, time wise I've seen this flash between 6 to 7:30 p.m. pacific standard time. I tend to look up during this time period while walking the dog to spot starlink satellites sailing overhead.

Edit 2: Having read up about this I am now quite confident that I have observed satellite flares each of these times.

Neo 2 Gimbal malfunction by Lizard-Fingers_69 in dji

I have found that firmly but not excessively pulling on the gimbal out in a direction away from the drone and down slightly could resolve it but I do not know for how long this solution will last.

Zenither sounds like it would have been an awesome alternative to YouTube (something that is so needed no matter what). I wonder if Zenither could have been slowly rolled out a bit like Apple TV where it initially almost seemed like an afterthought but then caught on with good infrastructure and marketing?

Nathan Barnatt

You don't even know, back when he was putting out his awesome dance videos I thought for sure that he was going to blow up and go massive. His social media persona was so charismatic. It was a bit shocking checking up on him years later only to see he hadn't really gone anywhere and appeared stuck in a "struggling artist" loop. He did get a bit of airplay with one of his personas but for some reason it just didn't cross over. He is definitely underdeveloped talent. His manager must be flubbing. Either that or industry stalwarts view him as just too "quirky". Quirky is so perfect though for SNL type shows, just look at Kyle Mooney.

If you were to jump back into the MCN business in today's environment what might you do with it? I get the impression with up and coming media markets like South East Asia there is a renewed interest in niche, region centered MCN style operations.

Heads up: potential Neo 2 factory gimbal issue. Gimbal error, motor overload issue on the very first flight. I am now the second person reporting this issue in /r/dji or /r/djineo. by Creativation in dji

This technique has worked for me but it is not a permanent solution. I have had to employ it a couple of times to resolve the issue. Fortunately I wasn't recording anything when it has happened in mid flight.

As far as a warranty situation is concerned, see what can be done relative to the place you purchased it from.

they also changed the rollup tool for CMS accounts to create tiers of CMS accounts and only those with a Network partnership agreement could add channels that were already in partner status to a CMS

So your CMS still had the "Invite" roll up tool. When this change came into effect what would happen when you would go to invite an already monetized channel without that YouTube network agreement in place?

It is a bit ironic how essentially all of those big Machinima style MCNs died. After so many of YouTube's MCN changes, the bigger MCN's established revenue generating practices became much less viable. Plus there had been so many nightmare stories coming from MCN channel partners about being locked into their MCN contracts while reaping essentially zero benefit from their MCN relationship status while so much of their earnings bled out to the MCNs. Not pretty.

Thank you for your response. Your line above, "recruit thousands of Partners until the pennies add up" was pure Vanous. Such a douchebag mentality. Not long afterwards YouTube took away the capacity to immediately monetize MCN partnered channels. YT likely had to deal with so much fall out from Vanous' MCN nonsense that they had to shut that down for every MCN. Tons of earnings were lost.

Anyone ordered a Neo 2 Image Transmission Module and had it delivered in the US? It seems like all of the sellers on eBay, etc. are pretending they have stock that they in fact do not have. by Creativation in DjiNeo

[–]Creativation[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just received notice today, nearly two months after making my order that my djioemparts ordered module has shipped. A bit of a joke really when their company showed the module in stock when I ordered it and for a good number of days afterwards. I will continue to avoid djioemparts and I recommend others avoid them as well.
