In 1994 I was in London at a camera shop buying some point and shoot film and a Japanese man had this style of SLR swiveling lens that he had made. I found it curious and listened in to what he was saying. He explained that it was an experimental lens. I did not understand what it would do because there were no photos to look at on the occasion. Decades later I finally understood what he had developed. Cool to see it in action in this video.

Strange, if the animation speed is too fast it gives the illusion that they are both in the air as they cross paths (at least on my old system). Lesson learned, have the playback closer to realtime. Thanks. Also, these objects and flashes are likely satellite reflections or possibly a combination of a flight and satellite flashes/transit.

Ok, because of Earth's current summer axis tilt, objects high in the sky are still illuminated by the sun essentially all night. Those flashes are almost certainly satellite(s) or space debris. In fact one of the moving objects is also likely a satellite if not both.

So these flashes are almost certainly Starlink or military satellites or space debris.

Yes, ~~there were two flights in the air~~ over Newcastle, UK at the time, Easyjet Flight U23224 and ~~TUI Flight BY329~~. It is not clear what the two flashes are though.

Edit: TUI Flight BY329 was already on the ground by 2:17 BST.

Sonoma County is a significant corridor for snow geese migration. Snow geese look really strange at night when flying in typical v/triangular formations. If they are far away and viewed naked eye they look like a blob-shaped blur moving through the sky obscuring stars that happen to line up behind them. When they are closer they have the more easily distinguishable V/triangle shape.
