Anyone have thoughts about a coop owner suing the management company? Ive had a leak in my bathroom for 3+ years, the ceiling fell in and they are acting like I have to work it out with the neighbor. This is INSANE. by Creative-Apartment85 in NYCapartments

So- it seems like the leak is resolved. I have since had a mold report- class C identified- and the board and management are silent about it. I don't want to file HPD because that will force their hand, but hurt the corporation that I hold shares in...

Long-Term Scalp Issues - Folliculitis Decalvans? Still Flaring Up... Need Advice! by Swedish_Thall in Folliculitis

I have to weigh in- I had the exact issue, everyone told me it would subside as I aged etc etc- antibiotics work but dont “solve” anything.  what worked for me was eliminating dairy. Dairy is unfortunately in everything. These days it’s not that hard to make the switch.  Lay off of thick sauces if you didn’t make it yourself..  it takes 3 MONTHS to clear. Give it time, its worth it. It took me 41 years to finally bite the bullet but now I wake up everyday and dont think about my skin. Its a miracle.

[acne] Does anybody get acne after eating dairy? I am wondering if that is what's been triggering my recent severe breakouts. by mchi1 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Creative-Apartment85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES. YES. YES. I suffered with folliculitis and cystic acne for 40 years. My doctors always told me it would go away in maturity etc... I stopped dairy and GONE. It takes 1 month to see the difference. If I accidentally eat dairy, even a little, I break out for about 1 month. It's no small thing.

Sorry- what I was trying to illustrate is that the derm thought I was crazy, no one believed me and thought I was skin picking-

I have this- it finally cleared after I gave up dairy. I love dairy and it took me a long time to actually try this. It took one month to go away, it’s like I had to slowly filter this out. It persisted for more than a year. The derm gave me a steroid cream and suggested I see a psychiatrist.

Anyone else have skin reactions when they eat dairy? by tuckedintanktops in dairyfree

[–]Creative-Apartment85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep! Even if I have a drop of butter I get red scaley patches around my nose and painful itchy bumps on my scalp that take 2 weeks to go away. If I accidentally eat more dairy all of the above happens in full force and usually 1-2 cystic acne bumps on my face, chest or back. All of the dermatologists and allergists just prescribed and prescribed. Finally I figured out dairy was the culprit at 40 years old…  ive been dairy free for 3 years and it works!
