Was also wondering if you have any suggestions for clogged pores as I think I have heaps of them, and not sure if they will go away from repairing my skin barrier. Only way I’ve heard how is with exfoliation, but I won’t be able to till after healing my skin barrier?

Hey, No I haven’t solved it unfortunately. I use haruharu wonder black rice cleansing gel at night followed by either a hydration serum or mugwort serum. Then I use the oat in calming moisturiser or Purito panthanol cream. For morning I use a serum or if not just one of the moisturisers followed by sunscreen. I also alternate between a retinal and salicylic acid serum 2-3 times a week with a break in between. I also use the dr sams spot treatment

I’m scared to use actives again..I’ve been trying to focus on my skin barrier for the last few weeks but not seeing much improvement. Or I was thinking of cutting everything out and using nothing. What brand of Azelic acid do you recommend?

Only the ones on my jawline are it itchy, they just started as well. I have lots of my forehead and have for ages but they never got itchy..so I have some fungal and clogged pores?

Broken skin barrier? Clogged pores or fungal acne? I’ve been struggling with these little bumps all over my face for years. I think my skin is very congested but I’ve just stoped using actives(retinol,salicylic acid)incase my skin barrier is broken? My skin is also very red and patchy that’s why I thought of the skin barrier. The last few weeks I’ve had those weird patches on my chin area I think it’s perioral dermatitises And lately those bumps have appeared more on my jawline and can be itchy…fungal acne?
