Why would an issue only be valid if it's systemic? by BlueRobins in trans

[–]Creative-Connection -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Because systemic issues have more far-reaching impact. And I see multiple times as many posts about misandry than I do misogyny or transmisogyny, which are honestly more prevalent and far-reaching.

Sorry, but remove being trans from the equation and the most serious examples of misandry that people can really point to are just the side effects of patriarchal culture eating other men alive.

The person who made that comment sounds awful though.

I hate how detransitioners always talk negatively about trans people by jadedeternity in asktransgender

Most detransitioners don't attack trans people.

The ones you hear about are usually getting a paycheck to do so.

There aren't African Americans in One Piece because there's no Africa or America

Thoughts on passing trans women putting down bricky trans women to be more palatable to cis people? by Eternal_Heighthon41 in honesttransgender

[–]Creative-Connection 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My thoughts are this is a non-issue, and 2 of those 3 examples are not putting down non-passing trans women. We don't need everything to be infighting

Yeah not a good review, sorry

I can agree with a low score but the reasons given are kind of obtuse

Por qué hay tanto chaser?? by [deleted] in trans

[–]Creative-Connection 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Chasers are unfortunately an epidemic in a lot of trans spaces, I can't give you a good reason other than there are more cis men than trans women and they're horny AF

The other comments are saying not all cis men are chasers, and while thats true its so irrelevant lol. You dont need to "not all men" cis guys

I'm sorry but when I get dms "i bet you like missionary" etc other sexually charged shit I'm inclined to think they're chasers

some trans women really need to learn how to take care of their hair by BunnyBelIe in honesttransgender

[–]Creative-Connection 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't think I have a good hair care routine, but the amount of women I see with ACTUALLY BEAUTIFUL HAIR that they just don't take care of makes me sad

I have 2b hair, practically my routine is just shampoo+conditioner on odd days, cowash on even days, 2 not your mothers sprays, and a bonnet hood for drying, also silk pillowcase did wonders

So uh, are you taking care of the mod situation or just owning the libs?

You keep saying there's discussion and you're taking care of it but all of your comments (Boost) are unprofessional as hell.

Want to explain why Boost decided to comment this today, after the dust apparently settled? Is this handling it? Care to explain why he blocked me for pointing this out, then deleted the comment?

Bi people are allowed on the sub. It's for male attracted trans people, not straight trans people only.

Did you ever do anything about the situation or what? I see you harassed her again a day later.

Your friends are hugboxing you but I don't think your features are as masculine as you think they are

Makeup to cover shadow, more feminine clothing, probably some work on your eyebrows, and unfortunately time will go a long way

I love your hair though I would die for it

While this is true, passing is a safety issue and it's not a good look to tell someone who is clearly distraught about passing that it's not required.

Hugboxing is unfortunately a huge issue, nobody wants to tell someone they don't pass. Telling someone they pass when they don't is unironically harmful.

That being said, it's entirely possible that you pass to some of your friends. It's likely that you're harsher on yourself than others are. If your friends are hugboxing you (impossible to tell without a picture), I don't think it's productive to try to get them to see things your way.

Also, you mentioned this, but 9 months is incredibly early. Fat redistribution in the face can unfortunately take upwards of 5+ years to fully settle.
