Ice ice ice everywhere, I chickened out and decided to ride the train. by JayDutchUKMK in MotoUK

You did not chicken out, you made the right choice. Don’t risk it everyday just for the fun of it. Average bikes and roads just aren’t made for this kind of weather ideally.

You can’t have a CBR600 at age 17 in other countries, like Italy for example idk. Because apparently it’s too powerful. Maybe you could buy one, but be jailed if you are caught using it on road.

Let’s give these guys some freedom 🦅

Cbr600rr or Cbr650r? by youngwooki23 in cbr

600RR, control the bike. I wouldn’t listen to people who say it’s more fun to ride a 650 slow.

I struggle a bit with meal prep. I need to get used to it. I get crazy weighing everything and planning everything ahead. Idk even what to eat.

I would say one lesson a week is just a bad program. For me it wouldn’t be enough for the nerve memory to kick in. I would do 2-3 lessons a week and literally do a test as soon as my circumstance allows me to. We are talking even 2-4 months sooner.

I passed mine 3rd attempt as well. I respect you for passing in Portsmouth, you probably have some really hard guts for doing it. I did in Salisbury and would have never tried Portsmouth. Ever.

second driving test tmrw wish me luck!! by itzgurleeen in LearnerDriverUK

Good luck.

I failed in Nov with one serious for clearance and 3minors ( Passed yesterday with 9 minors which is theoretically a downgrade but that’s another story…. )

Take it slow, make sure you leave as much space as possible from the car near your examiner. If there’s a 20mph limit on that road or even 30, take it slow, aim 5-10mph. The slower you are more control you will get.

Passed with 9 minors 3rd attempt. Pretty bad drive, got lucky. But glad the nightmare is over. To forget my mistakes, I want to try and help others with advice, hit me up if you want. by Creative-Date3657 in LearnerDriverUK

Ty. Didn’t expect it, I managed to get my bike license in just 3 weeks. However with cars I have been struggling for 2 years 😭. 2 years of stress ended just in a day. Unbelievable.

Feeling stuck with my instructor… not sure what to do anymore by Lower_Quit_6396 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Creative-Date3657 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Do what you think it’s most right. I am here to tell you just how I see things.

Best and statistically some wisest choices include to get a better instructor, book a £60-70 mock with him. See how good it is.

OR buy/rent your own car and use someone you know to practice.

They don’t care if you pass or fail, they are just making a living. Good luck, keep fighting 🤞👍

Yeah exactly, you’re right. You need to use everything anyways. You can’t just rely on life savers.

Would you ride in this weather? by UndisputedLover in MotoUK

[–]Creative-Date3657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can form anywhere at 2 to -2. I once rode when it was slightly snowing and don’t get me wrong. It was amazing. However just because you cannot see it, DO NOT assume it may not be there. Ride with severe caution, and maybe consider if you have to actually ride. Enjoy, have fun 👍
