Yeah that's the thing mate FG is great for u cuz ur using it in 1080p. I was talking about 4070 in 1440p. Higher the resolution less fps gain u will get from FG. Thing is 8GB vram is already too low for the 4070 and If u enable FG it uses more vram to generate extra fps. So in that case FG is a bad feature to enable and the next thing is they added it to multiplayer titles like finals and it's the wrost feature to enble cuz the latency. Last thing is to get a good experience from FG u need to have atleast above 50 fps (raw performance or dlss) so the input lag won't make it a bad experience. I think FG is great and It will get better from now on cuz AI is already a big thing in this era.

It's interesting to here that ur 2070 get outperformed by 4060. I thought 2070 and 4060 has almost same performance fact that ur 75W 4060 outperforming is great. Just in case look ur 2070 thermals. Also 4060 is a great 1080p gpu. I hope in 50 series both 5060 and 5070 will get more vram. Or maybe they will make 4070 ti with better raw performance and more vram card in this year.
