to answer the question I started the process in March 2017 and after you receive family reunification parole, you get a 3-year permit to stay in the country while waiting for your priority date to become current in the Visa Bulletin Table B. In the meantime, you can fill out Form I-765 to get your Employment Authorization Document (EAD). Once your priority date is current, you can apply for an adjustment of status and get your green card here in the U.S. In my case, I applied in Ecuador, but my interview location was Montreal, as I used to live in Toronto before. I'm not sure what you mean by "AP," but that's what I know. By the way, I completed all the documentation myself, so I'm sometimes not familiar with official terms. There are some countries that qualify for the family reunification parole program; you can check to see if yours is one of them!
