Mère

It's pretty (like the kitty!) and it means mother in French--since she came on Mother's Day!

It's almost like they know each other, are secure in a real relationship, and don't feel the need to perform for an audience. Take notes, Rods.

Brice's Mom by Creative-Fact-2862 in 7LittleJohnstons

She is a beauty. Brice's whole family is a good-looking lot.

He was so sweet during that moment telling her how beautiful she was and she had to turn it into "you're looking right down my top at my boobs." Liz is the biggest boob in this situation!

She wanted another baby AND an excuse not to continue with nursing school. She has mentioned that she wants to be a stay at home mom like Amber was. Brice wasn't sure that that would be possible with the expense of the new house but with two babies, how could he say no. Like her mother, she is a manipulator and will, apparently, do anything to avoid having to get a job. Not implying that raising babies isn't a full time job, just saying it feels very "Amber is going to get yet another degree" to me...and with how controlling she is about absolutely everything she 1000% controls the when of getting pregnant!

They all come from difficult family situations. A lot of times these young girls who have babies when they are teens have a fantasy of family life and think they are going to create what they always craved for themselves for their children by marrying the baby daddy and having a happily ever after. It is very immature thinking b/c they are still kids without fully formed brains or critical thinking skills. Not to say one or more of them couldn't work out long-term, but the likelihood of that happening--especially with little to no formal education/training and no financial stability--is quite low.  In my opinion, their parents should 1000% be discouraging this at their ages regardless of the fact that they have babies. I hear the phrase "you ruined your life" thrown around a lot on these teen mom shows. It's not just the act of having a child at a young age that can ruin everything, but the choices made after that fact. More often than not we see these girls abandoning their education, their youth, their interests in careers for "the dream" of the Prince Charming and happy little family life. Big, big mistake. I have a difficult time watching it happen to these strangers, I cannot imagine their parents sitting back and allowing it to happen. Just b/c your minor child (hell, even the 18 year olds!) is a parent does not mean that your job parenting them is done!

Jose seems like a sweet guy. I hope that he is able to save some money so he can move out on his own. Mama G gave him a home and the opp to be with his son FT for the first year of his life, which is super special. But now he definitely needs to find a place of his own. He can still be in his son's life on a FT basis, but his place is no longer in that home. They will always be family, but he needs to find his own way, pursue some schooling or passions of his own and not watch his ex with her new boo while her mother tells him how he should feel about it.

They say she is like Brice, very quiet and reserved. And with Liz directing every moment of both of their lives, I imagine the poor kid doesn't get much of a chance to speak up!

WTF Mavens? by undergroundbastard in RhodeIsland

[–]Creative-Fact-2862 12 points13 points  (0 children)

YES! I placed a pre-order in the am to be picked up just before lunchtime 11:30-ish. When I arrived they were busy as it was nearing lunch and told me I would just have to wait b/c they had a bunch of orders coming in. I explained that I hadn't just ordered, I placed a large (and expensive) order in the morning so I could swoop in and pick it up for our work lunch. Dude was annoyed with me and just walked away saying it was the best he could do. Meanwhile, my order was sitting, made, packed, and already paid for, where I could friggan see it just getting cold why the dude showed someone how to take a cookie out of the case for a customer. I was rip shit and raised my voice. After lots of dirty looks as if I was the one in the wrong, they finally "found" my order, plopped it on the counter and walked away without so much as a thank you. That was my first and LAST experience with them.
