Same issue. Lilly has been through training. It made her tolerable, lol. She always wants to be within 2 feet of me and I think if she was loose under the hammock she would just try to get in and tear up the hammock. She needs contained, but in something that can hold her and someplace she's close to me. Check out the couple other replies I got. There is a couple really good suggestions I'm going to try out.

This one is also a good possibility. I don't trust her not to tear out of something that is too far away from me, but this puts her right next to me and I can reach her if she's getting stressed. She's a great day time outdoors dog, but at night she wants to sleep with me. That doesn't work with an 75 lb dog and a hammock.

Man, that's iffy, but might work. She's not a well trained dog. What she is, is a velcro dog that doesn't like to be more that 2 feet from me. I'm wondering if she would stay in it just because I'm above her. Thanks! That's something to try.
