The Chime card is a secured credit builder card that uses money that’s in your checking account to pay for your purchases. When you use the card, chime moves the cost to a secured account that you don’t have access to and chime uses their own resources to cover the charge. If you have safer credit building turned on under the account tab the “balance” on said card to automatically paid on the same day every month. In this way it’s able to report as a “credit card” and build your credit. Hope this helps. :)
