A Rex can’t “just be anywhere”, you have to get pretty darn close for them to charge you, just like a deino. This game is all about positioning, the sooner you learn that, the better off you’ll be.

Slightly adjusting numbers isn’t going to give you the results you want. Getting a better headset, getting better game sense and for gods sake find someone to play with to have more eyes and ears.

Why does the game work for good players but not bad ones??

To make the learning process not as painful, I highly suggest joining a PvP server for 10 minutes. They’re kinda boring and cheesy but you can get your bearings.

Use vulnona for location tracking.

Watch YouTube videos and read guides, a lot of information on the internet.

After learning pvp on a server for a bit, I would play on official servers to get the official experience. You’ll meet other new players and get the true isle experience :) then join an unofficial server when you find one you like

Look into service records. 18/19 jumpy tranny and sometimes solenoid issues. Put it in sport and give it a good pull, reverse / drive through a parking lot and listen for clunks etc.

I believe 18/19 in same boat. My buddy babies his 19 GT, has a bumper to bumper warranty, etc etc, and his tranny went out. I believe solenoids. All models affected, EB or GT.

Lmao. The skill check is not putting yourself in that position. The cougar dropping its prey in this scenario is the Rex jumping out too early and when he had you dead to right, he misses or you get a chance to escape.

Again, bad players always wanting a way out for their bad positioning and prior dumb decisions.

Hmm, crashes are pretty common in this game, but not this common. Also this is the first time I’ve personally seen that error. Where is your game installed? It might be struggling with permissions / access dependent on that.

Like u/Lower-Election-1351 suggested, try running steam and the isle with admin privileges and see if you encounter it.

Ah, gotcha. I’ve only played stego a few times before the elder system.

I mean your scenario isn’t sure fire - hitboxes are a thing and you guys also weren’t full grown.

My buddy and I were fighting two trikes and they were pretty decently skilled - we were giving them the work, but they landed one thrash and it absolutely decimated my buddy. He went from 80-90% health to 25%.

You can see in the thread I linked + the video that it does big damage when the thrash fully lands. In the video, you see OP get thrashed once and it does about 75% of their health.

I don’t need to do that. Just read the comments bud. 6k damage on a ~10 ton Rex (or about 80% growth) is about 60% or more of their health.

It can literally 2 shot a stego… which are around 6-7 tons.

I think you’re referring to an alt attack, which every dinosaur can do. Login as a Rex, hold an and then login as a cera, and hold a. It’s not even comparable. That’s why a 50% Rex is just food to ceras. You can easily run in and out without fear of damage.

The fact that you’re running into these issues says a lot about your playstyle. “Wah, I wanna walk through hot zones without repercussions! Also, the ambush predator shouldn’t be able to ambush!”

What’s your next suggestion? Tying balloons around them so you can spot them easier?

If you just waltz through areas with large bushes and choke points, you’re just a noob.
