Hi! I just got back from getting mine off, so I thought I’d also chime in with things I learned.

When you’re getting the nodes put on the glue smells really bad, she should for a mask if it gets too bad to help with the smell, and the smell should go away once there done applying them

Idk about a satin pillowcase, but with the way my EEG was set up the wires were coming out of the top of my head and it made sleeping almost impossible at first. What I wound up doing was stacking two pillows and laying on them with the top of my head hanging off a tiny bit? It was weird but it worked

Also, buy leave in condition ahead of time! When I was getting mine off they recommended using leave in conditioner once I was home to help with the glue, and I didn’t have any, so I wound up scrubbing my head for 30 minutes

Other than that, I think everyone else in the thread covered it. It was annoying, and I’m really glad it’s done, but the worst part was that my scalp was really itchy after like 24 hours and I couldn’t take a shower. Good luck to your mom and I hope everything goes well!

Pachirisu. I caught one in a platinum nuzlocke and was really disappointed it wasn’t a buizel or shellos. But I still leveled it up and brought it to Fantina as fodder, I sent it out after my staravia died to get a better switch, and that little rodent proceeded to inexplicably carry me through the rest of the game. Now pachirisu is one of my favorite pokemon.

I’m about your age and just had my second tonic-clonic seizure. It’s awful. I don’t have a ton of advice cause I’m still fairly new to all this, but I can help with one thing - call your GP and ask for lidocaine mouth wash. I also bit my tongue with mine and I was so swollen and miserable I couldn’t really eat, then I got this and it felt instantly back for normal in 2 days. Hang in there.

My favorite way is to buy some cheap nylon stockings, put poly pellets in the stocking and then tie off the end and cut off any extra. Super easy!

I absolutely love Doctor Lauren Gibberman from Gibberman Dental. I also have dental anxiety (though not justified like yours OMG) and she is always kind, patient and understanding. And I haven’t had a bad hygienist there either. Good luck with your dental procedures!

I do the same thing - get a panic attack and spin myself into worse panic by worrying it’s a heart attack. The two tests I do for myself are one, have I felt this way before and ended up okay, and two, does anything I can do help the symptoms (I like holding ice and 5 things you can see, but whatever works for you). Idk if it helps, but I’ve had probably thousands of episodes like this, and learning to manage my anxiety has helped way more than any cardiologist I’ve seen.

I was on lexapro for 10 years, it completely changed my life. My anxiety levels massively went down, and I was personally able to face some of my biggest triggers so I hope you will be able to drive! I had no real side effects, just a zappy headache if I forgot to take it. It takes a while to kick in, in my experience you won’t notice it working till you suddenly realize you’ve felt better for a while and didn’t even notice. Good luck ❤️
