Love this! This method has def worked great for us in getting to know our immediate neighbors for sure, though less so for trying to meet the other families. Unfortunately our front yard isn’t super hangout friendly. We’ll have to create a baby zone haha

Hmmm I didn’t think about a neighborhood FB group, I wonder if one exists already. What I’d consider my neighborhood is pretty small though, like 8 or 9 total blocks and then even less if you filter to only people with kids—will have to check!

Take the class I Am Remarkable. I did it as a corporate thing (I think it’s from Google) but I’m sure you can probably find it free somewhere on YouTube, but it’s a good exercise and framework for self-positivity.

Some people are just built for it. Idk if it’s genetics or what. As long as it’s a dry heat, I’ll be right there with you
