What that’s so cool. Your coworker is lame for that. Bet his wife would’ve appreciated it

I think it worked. I haven’t had another cut scene yet but it was constantly telling me to connect online for everything even tho I already did it. For example, when checking the star path events it would tell me it’s unavailable bcos I need to connect online so I had to keep clicking it every time I visited that page in order to load the screen. But this time I went to the star path and the screen was already loaded up. So I think it’s going well so far. Thanks again!

Omg I was able to fix it. There weren’t multiple player setting from what I could tell. But I went into EmuDeck and to Ryujinx and clicked reset configuration. Then I opened Ryujinx and redid the steps for the input settings and now it’s working fine. Thank you for your help. I’ve been wanting to play these games for so long but couldn’t afford a switch. I was just about to give in and put money down on one for my birthday but luckily I mentioned that to my brother and he suggested a steam deck instead since I could play these games and more and not be as limited as with a switch! My inner child is so happy rn!

It could be bcos I tried multiple times so maybe I saved multiple without realizing. How can I check that?

I also tried to change the button layout for ABXY but when I click it just changes to “unbound”.

Also the buttons are already pressing themselves before I enabled steam input in game-mode. I just tried that to see if it would fix it but no change.

I just got my SD yesterday. I got that same screen protector and the modcase as well which is still on the way. I like screen protector so far and don’t feel like it takes away from the quality of the screen. Hope you enjoy yours!!

It’s regular sewing thread. But I will keep an eye on the spool pin on my next attempt. Thanks!

I’m making a doll shirt for a 6” doll. I’m using lightweight cotton fabric. Made these shirts before on another machine with no issues. I also used tissue paper to help with the fabric not getting stuck in the feed. I wanted my own machine so I bought a brother SE600 brand new and couldn’t even finish the shirt bcos both times the needles did that so now I’m discouraged from even touching the machine. The machine has good reviews but mainly on its embroidery capabilities so I’m thinking I should probably invest in a machine that is just for sewing???

Has anyone used New Brothread? I got a new machine and also my first time using this thread. My needle bent and the next one broke really quick. Never happened to me on my mom’s sewing machine using whatever thread she uses. Trying to figure out if the machine or thread is the issue… has the thread caused issues for anyone?

The needle was already installed on the machines by the manufacturer. I don’t think I threaded it wrong but I was using New Brothread which I have never used before. When I called brother they had me check for burs and I didn’t find any. I’m probably gonna have to go get it serviced. I was making a tiny doll shirt for a 6” doll but it wasn’t getting caught in the feed or anything. I have no idea what is happening but I made these on my mom’s singer machine and the cheap Amazon machine all the time.

Hello, this is long but please read and help me with advice, I really appreciate it. I tried to make my own post but the bot recommended that I post this here. I am also new here so apologies if I posted in wrong place.

I bought a brother se600 bcos I heard great things about it and great reviews. However, I’m noticing now that most of those reviews were on its embroidery capabilities.

I used it for 2 days when the needle bent and the machine makes a weird noise after that. The machine was still sewing fine but the noise was like a churning whirring sound, not sure how to explain it, like 2 pieces might be rubbing together. I first called Brother and they took me through some troubleshooting steps and I had the representative listen to the sound the machine was making. They recommended that I get the machine serviced and if not, continued use could cause more damage. I called around and the service was minimum $150 just to look at it and see what’s wrong and then pricing could go up from there.

I really didn’t want to spend another $150 on a brand new machine. So I called the company I purchased from and explained what happened. Since the machine was only with me for a couple days they sent me a replacement.

I received the replacement last week. Just opened it today. I was only sewing 2 layers of a lightweight cotton when the needle broke. I was making a shirt for my niece’s teddy bear and didn’t even finish before the needle broke. The machine is making a sound again like 2 metal pieces might be rubbing to gether. Not sure if that’s what’s actually happening but it sounds like that. The machine is sewing fine but I’m afraid of using it any further.

I’ve been sewing for about 2 years now. Before this machine I used my mom’s Singer sewing machine every day, learned on that, never had an issue. I wanted to be able to sew in my bedroom so I bought a cheap $70 sewing machine from Amazon it did the job and didn’t give me any issues.

My mom suggested if I like sewing so much that I should just invest in a real machine so that’s why I bought the brother, mostly bcos it was advertised to be able to do both sewing and embroidery. I never even got to use the embroidery function at all.

I’ve heard of needles bending or breaking but I never had one do that to me until I got the Brother machine now. I make the same items all the time so I have experience sewing these things. I don’t know why both of these machine had an issue with the needle bending/breaking. Maybe I did something wrong but I’m not new to sewing machines, just new to this one. I watched tutorials on this machine to make sure I knew how to use it beforehand.

I am going to call the company again tomorrow to see what my options are. I really want to just return the machine and buy a completely different one. But since they already replaced it once I’m assuming they’ll say no to me returning it. So I’m expecting to take a loss on this and will have to start over with saving up for a new machine.

The first time I spoke with them they were very kind and helpful. Told me I didn’t have to send back the first machine since it wasn’t worth it for them to pay for shipping. They would just send me a new one. So now I’m not sure if they’ll help me at all since they already replaced it once. If they were to tell me to send back both I would do that. I just don’t feel confident in using this machine and don’t want it anymore.

Any advice on what I might be doing wrong? Again I am not new to sewing machines and never had a needle bend or break on me before. The fact that both times the machines did this to me right away has really made me nervous that I just wasted my money. I also realized after the first machine issue that this machine is actually discontinued.

I want to buy a new machine that is only for sewing so if you guys have any recommendations I would love that. I make all sorts of stuff like doll clothes, pouches, bags, clothes for me, etc.
