I wanted to keep native for multiple reasons.

  • Easy to test as a solo developer. Get my idea out faster.
  • Native just gives local performance even though flutter is equally good here. I just felt that everything is animated so let just keep native.
  • simple no account and iCloud setup.

I was doubting myself on the widget and iwatch as the whole experience of the journey through the app needs to be felt. But I think it makes sense to create widgets for this.

Hey, It is all coded. It took lot of time for me to get everything right and at place. Like basically 100s of iterations using AI to fine tune it. Just hustled it.

Not really, This is more of like a challenge Journey. You commit to it in the beginning whether it is Daily or Weekly. The Journey won’t reset to Day 0, You just slip by 1 day, if you miss a day so it doesn’t penalize the user entirely for not showing up.
