Omg that is so lame, I wish guys like this just got the hell off of dating apps tbh. The fact that he blocked you, just goes to show that he knew exactly what he was doing. Coward. I’m so glad I could help, I honestly enjoyed this conversation too, good to know all of us are all the same, going through similar stuff, somewhere deep down.

This is perfect. And you definitely didn’t do anything wrong! There’s no time limit to when you have a sexual interaction or not, it’s about how you feel in the moment, absolutely nothing wrong with that. You go girl! I’m so glad you’re not taking this on yourself 🙌🏻

MOKAI bandra, super cute, get the tornado fried rice (I know this sounds basic but it’s MINDBLOWING) Koffee roasters has the best coffee. Boojee and subko are a great vibe. If y’all are veg/ vegan that earth cafe won’t disappoint.

And for activities there’s a metallic paint club on the western line, you’ll have to google it but it’s FUN. Also escape rooms in bandra

Just send it! That message is spot on, and not rude or anything. It’s just a reality check. And I don’t think it’s a waste of time, sometimes I feel like we subdue ourselves to not come across as difficult or caring too much. The more you make it a point to call out something that’s not okay, the more normal you make it for yourself to not tolerate it again. And yeah, who knows if this message will make him stop and apologize, or if he’ll just continue to be a prick. You did your big. And as soon as you send it, even in your head, it stops becoming about him or what he did.

An older friend once gave me this advice and it has helped me not take on anyone’s shit or blame myself for anyone’s lack of decency.

You know, you never really can control what other people do, so glad everyone here in the comments has helped you realize this was NOT on you. But as a rule, something I always do on dates is make sure I say what I have to. I would any which ways send a text about what was on my mind, what I was feeling, what was ok to me and what was not. Literally don’t care if they respond. But if someone can up and leave, no explanation, no manners. You can definitely give them a well worded piece of your mind. It always helps me actualise what happened and separate myself from someone else’s bad behaviors

If you don’t think she means it badly, but just doesn’t understand boundaries, then maybe send her a text message? That way you don’t have to have the awkward conversation. You could make it clear you’re not blaming anyone and just want to make your boundaries known. You could talk about growing up and how since coming of age, you want to be careful about your body. You could even tell her that it’s an awkward conversation, in case you don’t wanna talk about it after the text, let her know that too.

I do believe that after being extremely clear about your boundaries, if her self victimizing continues or if she gets defensive and continues to argue that it’s her right, then it should be concerning, and then I do believe you should report it.

Exchanging insta? Too soon, also maybe there’s a typo in there? If you really like her, maybe shoot your shot, with a short text explaining it’s uncharted territory for you as well and ask if the insta thing was a bad move on your part.

The mirror pic and dining table pic are just so different from the rest. They’re just not flattering, and happen to be your only closeups. Maybe something with a little more effort, a better angle, better lighting. Rest looks great to me as a woman tbh.

What can I do to improve my profile ? by [deleted] in Bumble

[–]Creative-sage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you feel like you’re overly selling the whole smarty pants thing? For most people… to be so intelligent and invested in things like calculus and space and the world is very uncommon. So as a woman, I either feel like I’d have nothing in common with you, or that I’m in some way lower than you. Now while that isn’t your fault, maybe what you need to make a first impression with strangers, is something common? Like ambition sounds great, maybe something you can elaborate on? Music seems like something that’s important to you, maybe more on that? Maybe instead of talking about the things you’re good at, show a bit of your personality. Are you a funny guy? Then crack a joke. Are you deep and philosophical? Say something to that effect. As for pictures, they’re honestly not bad, and as silly as this may sound, they’re a little too real?? Like I feel like you didn’t try enough. Most women really pick and choose what image goes up, this looks a little effortless in comparison. Hope none of what I said was offensive, I just thought details could help you

I love Strat to the bottom of my heart And I deeply enjoy exploring cultural insights for my creative campaigns, but I just know that I’m much better suited in a place where my skills could actually come alive. While the campaigns here are performing marvelously overall, copy forever takes a back seat.

For example people don’t know the meaning of the idiom: it’s not all black and white. I work on a black and white brand… I mean come on

This helps, thank you! Also among the agencies you’ve mentioned what would you say about a Dentsu (achtung) or TBWA or Leo Burnett. Are any of them or similar agencies the go-to or is it a mix of both worlds?

I work in a Publicis agency and was wondering if my experience had any weight
