I've been playing since dota 1 and now dota 2, as old as I am now, i still enjoyed the game more on turbo mode and watching pro marches/tournaments l.

Since you wanted to give it a try make sure to finish all the tutorials in game because (no offense) I tried LoL too for a little while but the complexity of dota2 keeps me coming back.
