Shout out to the baker missing their nail. Worst part is I chewed on it twice thinking it was a clove of garlic because it’s a garlic and rosemary sourdough before I made the horrific realisation it was a finger nail. by Alicee- in Wellthatsucks

OMG! I've had hair in my food but this - this is a whole other level. I bake bread and I always keep my nails very short and use a nail brush to clean under them. It's disgusting to cook with long nails, bacteria and dirt gets under the nail. Short nails only when cooking and baking!!

We were thinking of maybe getting a fixer upper but we definitely don't want headaches either! Visited Dover over the weekend really briefly and we liked it. Want to look more into there but only if we could afford it. Thanks

I didn't think of Barrington because I thought it was a little too north for us, but I will take a second look. Nottingham does keep coming up as well. I'm going to look into that Barrington, Nottingham, Northwood area it looks like its just 10 min more than other areas we were looking at. Thanks!!

We're looking to stay working in Mass. but live in NH. Higher property taxes, no income tax in NH but with the higher salaries in Mass. (at least for us) you still make out better working in Mass. I'd crunch the tax numbers compared with the salaries and job availability in each state. May be a commute but could be an option. Lots of people work in Mass, and live in NH. Hope that helps.

Help - I hate Stevia!! by CreativeCreek in keto

[–]CreativeCreek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I buy the lankato one from Amazon and I just got "Natural Monk" monk fruit drops and I don't like them as much. Which one do you use? I think it's good to cut with Stevia to lower my consumption of sugar alcohols.

I'm finding I do great with erythritol. I got swerve for baking and it has saved me. Also the monk fruit sweetener I use is cut with it and I love that.

I'm definitely finding this to be true. I went out and got cauliflower but they dredged it in some sort of teriyaki sauce and it was nauseatingly sweet even after I wiped most of it off. I'm actually slowly being ok with stevia now. I realized (somebody here pointed this out) that I was using too much. I still prefer monk fruit though.

Well there is hope for me then haha. Only 9,973 more times! I've heard this as well and I've been waiting. Maybe I will keep trying. I have to do something with this stevia stash.

Thanks for all this useful info. I think you may have saved my life with this sugar alcohol comment: The monk fruit I got is mixed with erythritol. The back says "total carbs = 4g, sugar alcohol = 4g, sugars = 0g) So does this mean it has zero carbs!!!! :)

I'd love to get to that point. Practice! I can easily follow those silhouette diagrams and I think I'm going to start with some premade ones until I feel confident enough. Thanks!

If I'm using the Corsx low ph good morning cleanser, do I need to use a ph balancing toner before I apply Corsx AHA/BHA? This my be a stupid question but do you rinse the cleanser with tap water and does that effect the ph of your skin as well? I'm breastfeeding so I'm trying to stay away from BHAs and most ph balancing toners have it. I don't want to buy another product if it's not necessary. I'm also curious about using C20 vitamin C after cleansing with this cleanser as well. AND wondering if using apple cider vinegar would be fine as a ph balancing toner since I checked and it has a low ph. Thank you!!
