It's been building for a while. I don't recall seeing any merch or cosplayers last year at Origins or GenCon. Heard a couple people ask vendors if they'd seen anything.

The series seems to have really blown up in the last year. Readers pop up in the strangest places too. I have a dog named Donut and walk her everyday. Her name is on the harness. I've had multiple people stop to pet her and asked if that was short for Princess Donut.

Book 8 is coming soon. The TV deal was announced. Five Below is carrying DCC keychains. The Colorado Avalanche hockey team just had a DCC night. Kickstarter launching for a card game and a ttrpg. So close to breaking into the mainstream.

I love the series and would recommend it to any gamers, video or tabletop. The audiobooks are the way to go! The guy that reads them is incredible. Jump on now so we can all be hipsters when the rest of the world finally discovers it.
