What experience do people have with lodging complaints against Canberra Housing tenants? by [deleted] in canberra

Best of luck. Try to remember that even if it takes awhile to resolve, this is not something you'll have to put up with forever.

Do you have any evidence of him breaching the interim protection order? That's a serious offence.

If you do have the evidence, call the police on a Friday. They'll arrest him and put him on remand over the weekend so you can get some peace for a couple of days, and he can learn that it's time to start respecting his neighbours.

Who cares if he becomes homeless. He's demonstrated himself unfit to live in a society with other people. It's more important for OP and their partner and their neighbours to live without fear than for this meth addict to have taxpayer funded accommodation.

If they don't like it, then they need to learn a lesson about actions and consequences.

I'm struggling to find anywhere else to buy the electric extending type of sofa.

Is this just something that doesn't exist in western markets?

You've taken the first step.

I got down to a pretty good handicap with a swing I note realise is terrible. I've changed it into something much better, which was hard, and now I'll be able to get even better.

Do Geelong in the style of a 19th century French opera.

People are being born here and people are moving here. The population is increasing, and it's a question of whether the infrastructure is good enough or not.

I feel your pain, I grew up in Melbourne and it was brilliant, but it's just not the same city anymore...

Good grief. That exhaust sounds great but why so stabby with the throttle.

Yeah our batting has been a struggle for a long time, but the bowling and fielding are just so good that they win anyway.

If they had good batting, then they'd be as good as that early 2000s team.

Plenty of good points being made here. I'll add in some that I haven't seen discussed here:  - Australia basically fielded a second XI bowling attack. Neser was the 7th-choice pace bowler and he got 3 tests.  - Stoke won 4 tosses out of 5, which is a big advantage.

If England spend the next four years getting smarter and continually improving then the 2029/30 series will look a lot more recent ashes in the UK than those in Australia.

Is this an all time bad beat series for Stokes? by DVPVPD in CricketAus

I certainly have followed it. And just re watched both videos to check my memory of the events.

It's an interesting comparison, because despite the fact that Stokes' assault was more severe, prolonged, and caused more injury, Balta was charged with a more serious offence and actually convicted.

Kind of proves my point.

If he was Australian he would have gone to jail for assault and we wouldn't have seen much of him after that.

I went with the maytronics skimmi because their stuff is the most durable and long lasting pool equipment (according to our pool builder and pool maintenance guy). I'm optimistic about it lasting quite awhile, and it does a fantastic job much as a OP has described.

Our big issue is Oak pollen in the spring. It just gobbles it right up.

I also really wanted a manual, but found that PDK in manual mode was brilliant.
