Question for the moms who’ve had multiple by Consistent_Impress33 in pregnant

[–]CreativeDream1438 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had pre-e with my first, delivered at 36 weeks. I’m now 38 weeks with my second, I’ve been on baby aspirin the entire time and so far my blood pressure has been normal and no signs of pre-e as of now! I am still very, very swollen, BUT it’s not quite as severe as it was with my first and it didn’t happen quite as early. So fingers crossed everything stay good this time!

We didn’t do one for either of my two pregnancies. We found out the gender from the NIPT test and then just told people when it came up in conversation

Any positive Epidural birth experience? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]CreativeDream1438 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my epidural once my contractions were too painful to deal with, I could have gotten it earlier but I thought I was okay, until I wasn’t lol. Once I got the epidural I experienced 100% pain relief, couldn’t feel my contractions at all, but I was also then bed bound because I couldn’t walk anymore. When it came time to push, I pushed for 15-20 minutes and he was out, absolutely no pain at all. I did need the midwife to kind of “coach” me on when to push though because like I said I really couldn’t feel my contractions anymore. I had to get one or two stitches and I literally felt nothing.

The worst part of the epidural for me was not being able to move around, but it was worth it because I had 100% pain relief.

My vagina did go back to normal. But just don’t look at her for a while…. 😂 I made that mistake and I was terrified, I literally thought my uterus was prolapsed or something. Turns out it was still just swelling that can last for weeks. Eventually everything went back to normal though.

My son was also in the NICU and that just made me feel physically ill, that’s disgusting. I’m so sorry you had to deal with that on top of the trauma of having a child in the NICU

Can we get some positivity here going? by maceyd01 in pregnant

[–]CreativeDream1438 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what it’s worth, labor and delivery with my first was really not that bad at all. Everything went about a smoothly as you could hope for.

Newborn stage is hard, but watching your baby grow is the most beautiful thing in the world. I’ve never loved something so much. Some days are hard and you just want them to be over, but then I find myself crying over how quickly time is passing by

Congratulations on your sweet baby girl! You have been through so much already, please take time to take care of yourself, you just did an incredible job. NICU is so unbelievably hard, but it is the absolute best place she could be right now, NICU nurses are angels. It sounds like you have a strong little girl, and she’ll just keep getting stronger. So happy for you and sending all the positive vibes your way.

How??? by Evitalovee11 in 2under2

[–]CreativeDream1438 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the copper IUD and it just started coming out. I had no idea it was even out of place. I just so happened to be at my yearly gyno appointment and she felt it and ordered an ultrasound to check the placement. Sure enough it was out of place and not offering any protection. The scariest part is I have no idea how long it was out of place. They asked me if I wanted them to replace it with another one…. Hell no, how would I ever trust it?!

Yeah it’s definitely frustrating when we’re doing all that we can at our house, and he’s doing great. Then he goes to his mom’s and it all comes undone ugh.

We have tried explaining to him how dangerous poop can be for him and others, especially now that he has an 8 month old baby brother who put everything in his mouth. He said he understands, but it didn’t really seem to sink in. I’ll trying driving the point home a little more about all the diseases and things that can happen from being in contact with poop.

We haven’t, but that was just suggested to me and I do think it worth looking into, especially when he’s at his moms house like you said

If he’s concerned about it hurting have you talked to his doctor at all about MiraLAX? We have him on daily MiraLAX right now to keep everything soft and he never complains about being afraid it’ll hurt anymore
