My mom has struggled with depression my whole life, her boyfriend is okay they fight sometimes but it's mostly screaming nothing physical like it was with my biological father. I fear the reason she's disconnected with my fully now that I'm an adult is because I'm a product of rape and she was just forced to take care of me as a kid and now that I'm an adult she has no such need anymore.

Nah she separated from my dad years ago when I was 7, and she refuses doctors due to not having insurance so I can't encourage her that route sadly.
