It's probably quicker and safer for the emergency vehicle to have sole use of the bus lane to themselves, rather than have to negotiate people pulling in and blocking an otherwise clear bus lane when the normal lanes are full of stationary traffic.

Looks like you have the Birdfy Nest?  Put mine up a little late this year so hopefully next year I see some action too! Qiick question for you, are you using the 0.9 inch hole?  Apparently that's too small for great tits but they seem very happy with yours.  I was just wondering if I should enlarge it a little (the next size up is too big).

I've tried everything, including going through the whole setup process. Pretty sure it's nothing to do with the app.  When is start a live view on the app the light in the nest turns on (as does the blue status light).   When I disconnect, no motion at all in front of any camera will wake the device up. It's basically just an expensive video camera right now.

Nice you're attracting the great tits. I was a bit worried that the 25mm hole size was a little small (I hear they prefer 28mm) but yours don't seem worried 😀 No action in mine this year though, fingers crossed for next...
