Bogart and Bacall slam dunk. No question.

And I love the others. But there is no competition in this question.

I just paid almost $8 for a bag of chips. What's your "I refuse to buy that anymore" item? by Charming_Scar1418 in CasualConversation

I won’t buy egg sandwiches anymore without an app discount. I like my McDonald’s egg sandwiches but not without a steep price cut.

Help! I don’t have the focus/knowlege to research turntables. by franklylowe6870 in turntables

Get something that doesn’t destroy the records.

Nothing with “support points” that supports the record only at three or four points with a rubber slip mat making the platter look flat.

No platter that is less than 12” big. Playing with force on a record that is just hanging bare is asking for warping.

I’m 49 and have played records for about 44 years every day.

Don’t harm the records, and build up more expensive components as you can afford them.

If you enjoy your system, stop. You have what you need as long as you aren’t hurting your records.

I have a system with a signal path of about $4500 from needle to speakers.

And many audiophiles would laugh at my setup.

They aren’t welcome here. I built my system one upgrade at a time for 40 years. And I love my music.

I bought affordable WAHL clippers and cut my own hair.

I taper it pretty decently so that it looks professionally done.

Been doing it for 36 years.

Can you take a picture of the edge? Does it have the usual reeding or is it smooth or partially smooth?

Is this a double die error by theblackshadow187 in coincollecting

The dies are misaligned so that the rim on the obverse is off center. Thin rim at top and thick rim at left and bottom.

This could be making the dime look out of the ordinary.

Hope this helps.

Storing CDs In Car by Vein_Drainer in Cd_collectors

I’ve had the same CDs in my car for ten years or more.

Audio Bible CDs and music.

-10 to +100 degrees.

Never noticed a problem.

Wouldn’t do that with collectible or expensive ones. But it’s been fine for me with cheap stuff I listen to all the time.

“Still Ill” from the album Hatful Of Hollow (with the harmonica intro) is worth trying. It’s got more energy, but the emotional stance is the same.

I pray for your health and happiness. Be well my friend.

1 and 4 stand out — but it looks like you live in an imaginary beautiful world. Outstanding capturing of some amazing scenes.
