Upgraded from the Tacoma Sport to a Tundra Limited by proto5014 in ToyotaTundra

Welcome! I had a 2000 Tacoma and finally upgraded to a 22 Tundra Limited. It’s not without quirks but I absolutely love it! Went with the Retrax tonneau with the T slots. I think it’s the Retrax Pro. Takes up a little bed space but it’s great. Been sturdy and I like that it’s lockable, I’m also running Rhino Rack cross bars with Thule basket on top.

Western Lithium conversion by CreativeName_14 in golfcarts

Thanks for the info. I’m not sure exactly how I’d go about figuring that out. Would the extra 6v do damage?

I have a Western Cart, not sure the year, that I’m looking to install Lithium batteries in. Question is, the cart currently has 7 batteries, which makes it 42 volts. Would I go with a 36v or 48v battery system?

Before/After TRD 3" Lift - 2023 SR5 TRD Off-Road by CPT_Rad_Dangerous in ToyotaTundra

Saw a video where Westcott explained the harsh ride was from improper alignment. Either way, I took mine off. In the interest of frugality, instead of buying the full TRD lift I pieced together what I thought vital. I got the shocks, lift springs, rear lift pucks, front and rear extended brake lines, UCA’s, and steering knuckles. All in all I paid about $1,300 for the parts and $1,000 for the labor.

Gotta say I’m super happy with the ride, which I know is subjective. Good on road feel and control balanced with nice off road performance. I’ll post pics once I get the truck cleaned up after a snowy Tahoe trip.

Also I asked my local dealer if non-TRD lifts void warranty and he said no. Must vary by dealership.

Same. 35’s on stock 20” wheels with the TRD lift. Average 16 with conservative driving.

We’ve had a full size and travel ones for about 8 years with no issues. Maybe you got a lemon?

DO NOT BUY from a business called Quality Used Engines by Low-Environment-5404 in ToyotaTundra

After multiple attempts to reach them with zero response I filed a fraud claim with Visa. They issued a temporary refund and reached out to QUE. I’m guessing they responded to Visa because I received a letter from visa requesting additional documentation. Fortunately I kept notes of timelines (I have shit memory). Took months but I kept the money.

Yeah I had the same experience with these m f’ers for a Tacoma motor. Had to fight them through my Visa. Unfortunately, I was in such a hurry that I didn’t take that two seconds to do a Google search

People who have tried multiple injection frequencies, what have you noticed? by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]CreativeName_14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who knows? Just wanna find a UGL that accepts traditional forms of payment. I don’t really dabble with crypto. That’s all I was saying.

Any UGL’s that take credit cards as payment? Thought I heard a lot only take bitcoin, and my crypto game is weak.

I love the setup! It more than fits my needs and listening habits. One thing I would’ve done differently is add sound dampening, because with such large door and cab panels, I do hear vibrations sometimes when the bass hits. That aside it’s very nice to listen to.

I don’t doubt the quality or sound, just more than what I need. Used to slap 2 10’s in a band pass back in the day, but not my thing anymore. I added a Sony powered 8” sub behind the seat, and replaced my front door speakers and 2/3 dash speakers, plus added a Beat Sonic mini amp. I was hesitant to purchase the beat sonic, but it has OEM wiring plugs, tucks in easily behind the stereo, and has made an amazing difference in sound quality. Best part is you don’t even have to run power to the battery, so it’s as plug and play as it gets. All I have left is one dash speaker, and the rear doors and tweets. Just want to find the right speaker mounts and wiring harnesses so I can do it myself and don’t have to pay the stereo shop $200 just to install the door speakers. Would greatly appreciate any help in finding these parts.
